Spraying foreign currencies is an illegality. This is because the foreign currency is not a legal tender. It is a crime to spray USD or other foreign currencies. Also, spraying foreign currencies will adversely impact on the exchange value of the Naira, consequently on the economy. Bundles of Naira could be presented, but must not be allowed to fall on the ground and be stepped on.

@mamag4337 No bad Bekesbourne here. I personally enjoyed the traditional wedding . It was professionally fantastic. However, regarding the spraying of foreign currency, it is an illegality based on our statutes. The Naira is the only legal tender in Nigeria. No other currencies should be exchanged for goods and services, including gifts. Gifts should be given in Naira currency, provided it is not the spraying that enables stepping on the Naira. All said, I love the traditional wedding, #CHIVIDO. It was fantastic. There should have been the "RED CARPET " aspects to showcase our cultural attire with interviews as VIPs arrive.
