First time I have seen these years after David left this world an indelible mark on me and I have only known him by his songs and on youtube . From New Zealand I want to say thank you David.

I just today remembered the first song I heard by David Olney "If it wasn't for the wind". It's always stuck with me. There in my own personal top ten. And I ended up doing that Google thing, and spending my Sunday evening watching this lovely celebration. And it makes me want to keep going with my own music, at a moment when I doubted for a moment. Thank you for this lovely, very human, way of remembering. Music is human. Songs are life. I love the way that David Olney's songs were simply a beautiful reflection of the life he shared in this world with his friends. Perspective. That's the thing to gain.

An amazing night. Nashville in PTSD-mode due to the tornado. The nation waking up to the notion of the impending pandemic. Yet people came from thousands of miles away, or just a mile away came to celebrate David's life on this night. As we should have. Thanks to all. Ramcey in Nashville

The memorial was magnificent and deeply moving, I'm so grateful I was able to share my love for David Olney with so many amazing people. Malcolm Holcombe channeling David on Deeper Well was absolutely electric, what a marvelous rendition.

loved the way he could take words and use them to fill in the little voids, the in-betweens, with connecting matter....closing up the cracks so the real doesn't fall through.

Wow. Stunning information. I didn't know he had died. Enjoy life up there, David, enjoy the hell out of it. You have a great style. Be what and who you want to be, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. I'm sorry I didn't comment more, bad times here at the house. I'm looking forward to a concert in the next realm one day.
