I've never seen your channel, but I must be on the right track with the algorithm. I'd listen to a passionate englishman like yourself talk about any interesting topic. There's a madness to you that I instantly respect!

Those TDS meters are temperature sensitive and I noticed the first test was at 25.7 C and the 2nd test was at 22.0 C ... that likely affected your readings. I recommend bringing a water sample indoors and allowed to come up to room temp to get more accurate readings.

Great video, I also discovered that the meter you are using has automatic temperature compensation to maintain accurate µS/cm readings. I need to get one, I can already see my wife's eyes rolling :)

Hello, what about , if you want to get away of this string algae and feed the other plants, doing some fertiliser from fermented string algaes "soup", so nothing's left, nothin's created, "everything is tansformed" ?

Have you done a chlorine to natural pool/pond conversion example without changing the water? If so, what were the steps. Thanks, and I enjoy your work,

That's like asking have you added pesticides and herbisodes to your organic vegetable garden. 😂
@jonisolis96453 ай бұрын
Could you just pee and add that to the water? And does this also have fish? Thanks.
@flyingmonkey38223 ай бұрын
Yes, but you also need a mature nitrogen converting bacteria culture which hopefully the soil already has
@GoodWoodWorks-le4cd2 ай бұрын
Hmm. Possibly. But consider your chemical compound of pee. Have you tested it for outside non wanted stuff? If we all could, test our urin effectivly, the medical proffession would ban it for sure. 🤪

If we swim in oceans, lakes, streams we are nearly swimming through mountains of animals shitting & pissing like bosses. I definitely think a human could pee awesomely. Maybe just one human per pool though, lol.

I'd rather add grass to water and make green liquid and ad that to the pond than ad My own piss then swim in it. 😅

My pool plants are really green this year and tall, but still got a ton of string algae. I ended up adding some potassium permanganate and also hydrogen peroxide a different week and the algae finally came under control. Getting the balance right in these pool/ponds is definitely tricky

How is the circulation between them by air and no pump please? Thanks
@mafrdas2 ай бұрын
Look into "Air lift pump". It's a cheap and simple way to move a lot of water... And simultaneously oxygenating.
@josephsee24252 ай бұрын
You suggest not to pee into the water but what if you added occasional dilute urine to the filtration side as you just did? Yes, it does contain phosphorus but the NPK ratio of urine generally speaking is overwhelmingly nitrogen-its definitely not a balanced fertilizer

Healthier plants will clean water better and give your clearer water. Plants need some kind of fertilizer to keep the healthy and growing.

healthy plants clean the water... by consuming fertilizer in the water. that's the cleaning...
