Thank you, I went from 180 pounds and 60 units of insulin to about 120 pounds and no medicine. I just started testing after I ate and removing the foods that spiked my blood sugar. I think I have a bit to work on in terms of stress and other issues, but I am so grateful for this information that I can share. Thank you.

What a lovely lady with a great ability to simplify all the complex health info we seem to get these days. This is exactly the information I needed. Many thanks to you both.

Thank you so much for interviewing Dr. Means. Thank you both for actually caring about your fellow human beings and for not being medical doctors working for pharmaceutical industries' profits. I am so grateful for both of you and all other doctors who are speaking up for truth.

Great conversation! The doctors talk about how to validate our innate human ability to recognize patterns in life, make sense of them, and act to improve or change those patterns, in the context of a system (requiring system thinking skills). Most of the Western world follows the simplistic linear "solutions" paradigm. This also dominates most sciences today (as Dr. Means referenced here). That leads to the "bust the symptom" mindset in drug stores and health systems. Such thinking is less difficult for minds untrained to recognize system issues but produces poor or bad results. We have the opportunity today to integrate important new health knowledge into a holistic, system-aware health paradigm for individuals, families, and communities. Let's pursue this in our schools, health, nutrition, and all the other parts of life. Thank you for pointing the way forward in this one important area of health.

Casey and Calle Means are really a gift for this generation who are experiencing diseases that were never seen before except in the aging population . Kelly Clarkson just did an interview with Olivia Munn today discussing her breast cancer and her bout with Post Partum Anxiety which are metabolic diseases. After the interview she promoted a soda called Poppi which is a flavored soda that contains sugar. She is an investor in the company and went on the Kelly Clarkson show to promote this flavored soda drink. If Oliva Munn is still drinking soda after her bout with Breast Cancer then we really need to sound the alarm about sugar and the dangers to our health.

Hello.. Thank you for another fantastic program. Dr. Casey really shone about you when you told me about your medical work and how you are now trying to find the causes of all the sorrow of diseases that humanity suffers from. Imagine if the medical profession and hospitals could have that view of disease and its origin. I am 66 years old and from Sweden and I have a goal to live completely healthy until my last days. Eating a low-carb diet since 2009.

Absolutely right. I am so much more eager to do things with my better health after my elimination diet and intermittent fasting. It's honestly almost hard to believe how simple it is to do. I was drinking protein shakes with spinach , kale, carrots, stawberries...oxalates and fructose etc and my calculations score got up to 110. Now, I did have atleast 5 years of extreme stress taking care of my mother until she passed. I honestly wonder if the stress contributed to the high calcium score. I realize without a doubt that my "healthy diet" was infact slowly killing me. Bacon, atleast 4 eggs a day, chuck roast, ghee, black coffee, salt, Tumeric, Cayenne, K2, D3 and a few more plus water and electrolytes occasionally is just about the only thing that I consume. The occasionally chocolate candy bar is something I have to avoid because it prevents me from moving beyond the cravings for sugar and carbs. When I do stop someone typically eventually offers me one.

I listened with great interest because I have this question for years. I don't have diabetes but I have the opposite my blood sugar crashes. I over produce insulin, I have yet found anyone that addresses this issue and what to do. Most times I am able to control it but there are times when I get into an impossible situation. My sugar drops so low it takes all my energy to just breathe. Where can I find help?

I use my rebounder every day. I eat a very clean diet. No meat, no fish, no dairy, no grains, no junk, no box, no bag, etc... And I live in pain 24/7. I have histamine Intolerance & ear aches 24/7 & nothing has helped me & 7 surgeries later & I am no better. I have lived with earaches all my life. I am going in circles. 😢😢😢

As a nurse I can't thank you enough. It drives me bonkers to hear "evidence-based practice." Not that evidence is bad but it's constantly changing. Can we just simplify back to basics in the medical field?! Not everything has to be AI, technology, drug-pushing, etc....

"We're focusing on minutiae," That's been my sense about the recent biohacking trend. It's like we've regressed to the Victorian pneumatic model where the body is pumps, pulleys, and levers. Always tweaking the inputs trying to achieve some poorly defined health goal called "optimum health." It's bananas.

The comment about walking 8k to 12k steps daily..... To reduce chances of brain issues seems to me is more a correlation than causation. These same people probably try to sleep better, don't eat crap, limit carbs, maybe even have a great family life. Get my point,?
