Z msp David was no angel then though, he terrorised his own family by sending cards from the mad man who tried to kill them all, a man who had been dead for 3 years at that point, and he manipulated or tried to manipulate everyone around him. Charlie went a bit far but David did need to be taught a lesson, getting involved in Charlie’s life just because he fancied a girl way out of his league and too old for him, he wasn’t trying to be noble by exposing Charlie and Maria’s affair, it was out of jealousy, of course Charlie was gonna teach him a lesson, he wasn’t gonna kill David, just scare him. David back then was like a teenage version of Charlie, only less scary

Looks like Jack P Shepherd has picked up a Standard Canadian English accent on the show. Usually, in British English, the word "talking" sounds like "tulking". However, David Platt sald "taalking" as opposed to the usually "tulking", which sounds similar to Standard Canadian or Canadian Maritimer (accent used in Canada's Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick provinces) accents. I'm originally from the Canadian province of Nova Scotia (latin for New Scotland), and that how they say the word "taalking" in a Canadian Maritimer English accent.
