He didn’t have skills or the money but he has a gift something you either born with it or not. He has the gift of seeing people for who they are. And knew how to assembled them and work with them and build something special with them. The way he talks shows that even today he still like that. By the way he answer the questions. I'm half way through the book and this interview jumps to the promotion of star athletes. The book "Shoe Dog", was more about the humble beginnings of the company way before it became a giant publicly traded company. In the beginning Saloman who was Knights partner and track couch was a fanatic about running and running shoes, which explains a lot about the success. They were really obsessed w/ shoes, with making them better.
