I'm proud to call this man my favorite actor. What a career he's had, he's a stone cold American Icon! You've got to respect him for still being a humble, stand-up guy despite all of his success.

Excellent interview! Stallone’s magic is that he played heros on screen so well that he sort of became a real life one for me. I cannot believe that Mr. Stallone has experienced career lows, given his notoriety and success. The man comes across as humble, accessible, and genuine. He just cemented my respect for him. Wish that I could meet him in person.

Great interview. Stallone has a great outlook on life and a terrific way of expressing this perspective he has. He managed to instill this into his Rocky scripts and dialogue over the years, most of which I'm sure he pulled from his own personal experience - never give up, be prepared to take the punches, don't measure your worth by success (which can be fleeting) but rather by how you handle failure and move forward from it. There's a million influencers and motivational speakers on social media, but I think all anyone needs to do is watch all 6 Rocky movies and they'll learn that determination and self-belief is key to everything, no matter what you do in life.

thanks for bringing him in David. Sly is as down to earth, humble and earnest as you can get for a superstar back in those days. We sadly don't have public figures and conversations like this much anymore today, where it is all about ego-flexing, quick results, partisan bickering, and 5 minutes news flash.

I am unsure if sly will ever know how many people his writing and acting has positively affected. My family and I being among them. I have often said, “how do you not like Rambo, or love Rocky?” Those two characters alone have inspired people all over the world to never give up, to never quit, and to keep on punching. They have taught lessons on determination, right and wrong, adversity, and justice. Thank you sly, thank you for everything you have given to this world, and thank you for consistently mentioning God throughout your writings and acting.

Rambo was very important to Vietnam Veterans who came back to America and were hated. Even though they were drafted and had to go they were blamed for being baby killers etc. When Rambo speaks about some of this Veterans actually cried in the theater because he spoke about their pain.

I'll be 26 in June and Mr. Stallone is literally my favorite actor of all time. I have watched every movie of his. Rambo first blood was on spike tv once and I watched it. And following that was First Blood part 2. I immediately feel in love with Stallone's acting. I found Rocky and watched every single film. I own all of Stallone's films. I would hope to someday meet him. Even if I just saw him in public. Stallone had to sell his dog because he was so broke in the 1970s before Rocky. Or around the first Rocky. He is a extraordinary actor and I absolutely love the 70s and 80s movies. People actually had ideas for films. If Mr Stallone you see this. I just want you to know your literally the Greatest actor of all time in my book. And no matter what you'll be my favorite actor on the planet. 🥊

When I was younger I loved his films but never thought much about Sly as a man away from film. As I'm getting dam close to 50 I find myself really being inspired by this man especially how great he looks for his age. I mean the guy is 75 years old here in this interview ffs! Haha Rocky IV is the reason I started to work out (even though it was Dolph Lundgren who's physique I wanted {and eventually got}). But to call this many anything short of a Legend is an understatement.
