It is actually a Nepali dish. Everything you ate especially those pickles its purely Nepali. Good to see you enjoying your time. You can visit Nepal too, And man you can eat chilli 😁😁😁😁. But the goodness of chilli can get better if i have a rice, lentil and bite a chilli rather than having itself at once. And it would been very helpful if you have given proper information about the food that is underrated. In terms of taste Nepali food is not as spicy as Indian, Bhutanese .

That place is lovely! I love the vibrancy of the place, it' so alive and at the same time, quite peaceful. That platter of Indian-Nepali food is presented so well. It's so appetizing. Just to suggest, if you are eating rice meals in Asia, you use chopsticks or in this case, spoon. Thanks for this video, David.
@Nosyperson54 жыл бұрын
In Bhutan, we normally use spoon or hand lol🙈🙈
@1996warman4 жыл бұрын
@Pre Travels, no, no and no. East Asia is not entire Asia. When you travel in Indian subcontinent(India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka), you should eat with hand. Eating with spoons is considered snobby here.

David, try coming to Nepal once. Try the Newari cuisine and you'll never wants to leave Nepal for sure!! If you love buffalo like you said, then that's the cuisine you'll dig into. Nothing is wasted when the Newars butchered a buffalo except its fur!!!!!!

Is there non-spicy food in Bhutan?
@Rakesh-ol6gl4 жыл бұрын
You're correct.. Nepalese food has far less masala compared to India. We just add cumin powder only, not garam masala as in India in our veggies, as it ovepowers the natural taste of veggie. I watched some food series in Sikkim, Nepali people also eat less spicy food there.. We don't add any masala at all in greens (saag) - just salt, oil/ ghee, few chili & garlic.
@bepositive82554 жыл бұрын
Yeh, we don't eat too much spicy. But the truth is the whole super markets in Kathmandu is full with garam masala.

Bhutan and India share a border and yet they are so different. Every Indian should be made to watch videos on Bhutan at gunpoint so they get to know how people live outside of India, without the maddening chaos, honking and littering.
