The food looks good but I wish they would have public WC there. It's too dangerous eating many different foods in the same day for me w/o thinking about WC. I am glad you enjoyed the food and had the good experience of your stay. I wish one day to visit VN.

FYI Ho Chi Minh was the leader of the Vietnam Patriotic Party who fought against the French colonialists and gained the independence for his country after a long war . After the Geneva Agreements in 1954 , Vietnam was divided into two different states : the North ( backed by the Soviet Union and China and the South ( backed by the USA ) . HCMC 's dream was to reunify Vietnam in one independent country . But unfortunately he passed away in 1969 , six years before his dream came true . Then after 1975 year of the fall of Saigon , this city was renamed Ho Chi Minh city in his honor .

Vietnam takes every taste to extreme. If it is sweet then they dowse it with condensed milk. If it is salty then then it is very salty.

David I’m wondering why wouldn’t you help somebody that is begging specifically ?
@petervu7230Ай бұрын
He probably wants to see people work for their money instead of begging.. And also beggers also use often little children to make it worse.

@ working with what money to fund what form of work ? He speaks about it as if he had a dislike without acknowledging some people just need help they can’t lift themselves out of poverty that simply. But he’s pretty narcissistic at times so I’m not surprised

After Ho Chi Minh and the NVA defeated the French, Vietnam was only supposed to be temporary split until the presidential election to reunite the country but that didn’t happen. The US prompted up South Vietnam government and broke the Geneva peace treaty. South VN became a runaway territory of Vietnam supported by the US. It was the US that caused the Vietnam/US war

The true Vietnamese will know Saigon is just the center of HCMc and = 1/30 HCMc . I was born in district 5 HCMc. And I feel annoyed when people misunderstand about Saigon and HCMc.

I just started watching your channel a couple weeks ago when you went to Vietnam. But...I have to say, your guides are absolute shit. I know they used to work with Sonny, but they did a terrible job of showing you the actual Vietnamese dishes that you should be trying. They're such a disappointment....they might as well have taken you to McDonald's and KFC.
