I find Semarang fascinating because although it’s a provincial capital, it feels like it’s stuck in time sometimes. Some things just look and feel the same way they did decades ago. 24:23 oh, he was fasting? Was it for lent? I thought this was an older video, but it’s fairly recent then. 🤔 2:52:33 I’m glad Arie didn’t skip _babi pikul_ because it’s a must have when one is visiting that particular market in Solo. Semarang also has many porky dishes not to be missed.

I'm from Semarang, my favorite food is "Tahu Petis" (tofu sandwich with black pasta), I can eat tahu petis every day, unfortunately you haven't tried "Wedang Tahu" and "Tahu Gimbal"
