As usual lots of sweets ....but the shrimp dishes were really looking delicious...all the curries ...spices. Another amazing video. David and Tasos thankyou so much and stay safe on all your travels.

please let us put this way; the Turks learned from the Iraqi cuisine, not the vice versa. because the age of the Iraqi civilization extends to nearly ten thousand years, while the Ottoman Empire dates back to nearly 800 years only - almost -.

Modern/medieval Iraqi cuisine Influenced mostly by arabic levantine artistic and court cuisine (as well as folk food insipred by that in turn) with its Innovations in later invented recipes, techniques and scienfitic/medical approach for health, and some have more ancient roots in local ancient civilization, and a few Influences from persian/indian and turkish, but still most of the food based on the unique regional iraqi cuisine. Also those iraqi foods and desserts are original regional iraqi (mainly central and southern) and not strongly Influenced by persian and turkish or other cuisine.

David: what an amazing video. To see you touch the tree was a bit emotional. Now, I am going to dispute something and I would like anyone to correct me if I am wrong. Adam and Eve were expelled from the garden of Eden because they disobeyed God. There were two trees in the garden: the tree of life and the tree of knowledge of good and evil. They chose to eat from the tree of knowledge which they were forbidden to touch. However, they discovered that they were naked covered by just a fig leaf. There was no apple in the bible. The snake was the temptation. The apple is a metaphor for Adam and Eve discovering themselves, if you know what I mean, and hence Cain and Abel were born. So we were all born of the original sin of Adam and Eve's disobedience to God by partaking in the tree of knowledge of good and evil. It's so nice to see how Iraq has changed. It's such a bright country. As to the food, the chefs make it look so easy to cook; I would gladly eat anything they prepared. And I love what they did with the dates. I figured you would like the one with the peanut butter. So, all in all, another good one. Tasos still look shy; got to get him to break out of his shell 🤗. What's next? Can't wait. Be well and stay healthy. Till next one. 🙏😇🕊️🇹🇹🇨🇦
