Reminder the last non-Oreca to win a race in LMP2 was at Buriram in 2020, and the last time it ever ran a full season was AsLMS 2022, so yeah it's been a while. cool to see irrespective of results, it's the commitment that matters.

The next few years are very important for Ligier. I really want them to be successful in GTP/hypercar. that means podium finishes and customer car sales. question.....is Ligier building a new car for the P2 class in 2025 or 26?

I thought it was a step up in 2021 at the Rolex 24 in LMP2 when a Ligier ran by the Eurasia-Rick Ware Racing team and even a Dallara P217 ran by Cetilar Racing entered Daytona. Both finishing 4th for the Ligier and 6th for the Dallara out of the 10 car field. Nice to see a full time non Oreca LMP2 entry.

BoP doesn't fix anything in regards to Ligier, Dallara, and especially Riley. And the fact is we don't need another BoP class in sportscars, they can easily be incorrect(just look at Daytona 2023 or Le Mans 2016 for both extremes).
