Great to see the two together like that. Apparently, forty years later they are still close friends who love each other. Even if the physical looks have faded over the years, the connection between the two apparently is as strong as ever. That's a beautiful thing, any way you cut it.

Television in the 70's was the ultimate! Nothing on TV in modern times comes close!! Of course, Starsky & Hutch takes the award beating all other 70's cop/drama programs!!! Paul & David had (& to present day still have) a chemistry between them that's virtually unmatched by any other (2) people on television!

The onlyother two people I can think of is Sonny Crocket and Rico Tubbs in Miami Vice, which, in case you don't know Paul Michael Glaser worked as director! Watching the credits the other day I realized of this, so many years ago, never knew this, well I was 5 years old when watching Miami Vice :)

Thank you for posting these being in the UK we didn't get to see these shows at the time it's nice catching up now. Was totally in love with David back then, and I am still in love with him now, met him last year for the first time and he is lovely. But what made meeting him so special was that he and Paul are exactly the same with each other now, as they were then, they still touch each other a lot, they giggle like mad and still joke around, just adorable the both of them..

To me, this interview is wonderful on some many levels, love David's shirt and Paul's playfulness and you get instantly they love each other as friends, though David! Setting Paul on fire? Hope water was standing by. And I believe the quote by Paul probably sums up one of the best reason the show was popular, the police as well as the fans loved to see them do what we all would in real life if we could get away with it.
