The thought that crosses my mind is maybe it is the works of a copycat killer? I have also always found it peculiar how close Merle Abrahams’ home is to Trevor’s, and yet throughout the entire storyline Trevor never mentions anything about Abrahams.

Maybe the Infinity Killer is literally referring to his number of victims, because it's supposed to be a reference to some forever unseen GTA game's protagonist, hence "infinity" since there's no end to the carnage you can cause, and Merle was the post-game fall guy for that protagonist's actions with the number of victims that the police could reasonably pin on him. Just a theory.

I think he did murder the 8 people. But I don't think it was the joggers. I think the joggers are from a whole different case, but since they happened around the same time the blame was put on Abarhams. Now he was an older guy, so the chances of him being able to take down males who were most likely fit since they were jogging seems slim to me. He would have had to have an easy way to lure them in. So, the women could possibly be hookers. Which would also explain why there may not be any missing person reports about the women. Food for thought?

In one specific cutscene when u switch to him he's trying to push a foot in his toilet, in another scene he buried someone, in 2 he's puking what he says "never eating Chinese again" in 2 locations, and idk if it counts but the car chase where he's chasing a witness.

My guess is that Trevor had something to do with this. Considering how he never mentions Merle and having a quite of murderous personality before ganging up with Michael and Franklin. After all, a major murder mystery that links with the protagonist of GTA would makes it even more interesting for an extra backstory revelations.

Maybe Rockstar originally intended the victims to be female in the article, then changed their minds and simply couldn't be bothered to create new models. Seeing as the only way to find the bodies is by hunting around underwater with special equipment, and the only way to see that they're women and definitely Infinity victims is by using the trainer, there could have been a side mission that was scrapped for some reason. Then, they decided to change the gender, maybe because a lot of well-known real-life serial killers targeted women and they wanted the Infinity Killer to not resemble anyone too closely, and just didn't care to make something new or change the old. It could have been a last-minute change. It could also have just been a typo in the article which Rockstar, again, just didn't give a crap enough to fix since it's hard to tell the gender of the bodies. Those options seem pretty realistic to me, though I do enjoy the mystery of the other option, which is the idea of a second set of eight victims. I'd love to see you look into this further!

I'm gonna go with what another guy said. Maybe Merle actually did kill 8 women and 8 men happened to go missing around the same time. There's something with this though. Maybe Merle had a rival of sorts that wanted to bring him down? Could explain why the corpses are female instead of male. His unknown rival managed to pin the blame on him for his own work. I'm just going off of what I think. This is a huge mystery.

Beneath the depths, not sure on location, there's a sunken Tug Boat with various weapons and body armour aboard. Next to the stern of the destroyed boat, is a woman. She has been cemented by her feet, with a bag over her head and hands tied behind her back.

Idk if u covered this yet but in some missions in the badlands/San fierro in San Andreas it's strange to see abandoned cars by the forest in both day time and at night idk the reason behind that but I think there's something else besides the woods creature and Bigfoot it must be something else that has to explain it. Might be something about the fib kidnapping people since the badlands is not to far from San fierro and that strange building with the DNA strand statue

My theory: Rockstar didn't accidentally put female corpses and Abrahams had way more victims than just 8, Abrahams was probably misleading the police and others with all the clues and letters and drawings of paleto bay so the police won't find the actual bodies of those men. I believe that the actual location of those male corpses is Raton Canyon. Recently you uploaded a video about phantoms in GTA 5 in Raton Canyon, and also about so many flies buzzing in that area and we know that flies could be found like that near the garbage or the corpses and since there was no garbage, Abrahams might have buried the bodies of his male victims there cuz again, he keeps on repeating that nobody would be able to find the bodies even with the clues. Again, this is just my theory and it might not be correct but still it's mind-blowing to think about that My 2nd theory: Abrahams wasn't the killer of those 8 young male joggers. Abrahams is indeed a serial killer but he might be responsible just for those 8 female corpses and that another serial killer actually murdered those 8 young males and he was never imprisoned. So in conclusion, Abrahams might've been falsely accused and imprisoned for the murder of those men but he definitely killed those women

If you go inside Merle's house, look on the bottom right on the wall near the metal scrap. It's a drawing of T...who I think is the real infinity killer. I think T killed them after finding out M was deceased, and set Merle up to take the fall. Why else would there be a drawing of T on the wall? Plus the close proximity to his trailer and he does eat people so.....
