I think it's an extremely rare easter egg from R*. Trevor's voice was too calm to be from the prologue, so it wasn't the game thinking you're in the prologue mission. What could be, however, is a random cop passing by and Trevor just takes the opportunity to express that he's not scared of him. But what would a cop do there all alone? In my opinion it's more likely that Brad's ghost either exist, or it's just Trevor pretending that Brad's ghost is there and he letting him know that he's not afraid.

It seems likely that because cops were present at the farmhouse, and that Trevor mocks standing cops, that it is very likely that data from the cops is still present by the farmhouse and Trevor just reacts to them with lines mocking the cops. Very likely if someone else were to reproduce this, they could theoretically get different lines, still mocking or sarcastically saying things like he did in this video

The reason Brad isn't in the grave is because he is a npc model even when dead. When you tp using the mod it doesn't spawn npcs

DaviDustin Maybe this is why you don't see him? Maybe they where planning on using that model for something more, but never did since you can't go back to NY without mods and when you do it doesn't load him.

Edit: Should have watched the video further. he spawns at exactly this location on the chair. So apparently Trevor is reacting to an invisible npc? I am there during the day - will leave until night and return. 2 Years later and here I am telling you that's not true apparently. I teleported using menyoo - spawned myself a bike instead of a car to give everything time to load and apparently a npc spawned, sitting in front of the house you see at 8:57 (on the right) . Usual ped you can greet him, he responds - nothing more. Lonliest guy in GTA 5 - haven't seen any other one. Brad's grave is still empty though. (I didn't spawn any ped or something)

The wind blowing at 8:59-9:03 honestly got me. I've never played the PC version, and I've never modded to this map. It took me a minute to realize that was how the wind affected that tarp, and if I may? I think gamers who also didn't realize things like that might be part of where this myth came from. But at least this was addressed, unlike click baiters like Nought and MrBoss, who would have spent 15 minutes telling me how this was *such* a game changer.

I think the second is more likely to happen due to the : "ghost can be found where they are dead" since a large number of players didn't wander north yankton nobody knows about this easter egg

It was Dave Norton who shot him. He wants to shoot Trevor but accidently shoots brad instead Edit: The reason he fake his death, that was just Dave's offer. At some point he allowed Michael change his identity, thus fake his death using Brad

From my knowledge of trainers in GTA V, I'm pretty sure that the option of you teleporting to Yankton required first: The map script of Yankton to be loaded into the GTA V world (nearby the airport) and teleport you there. Some of the Yankton map script could have contained details that Rockstar didn't remove out since Yankton wasn't going to be an accessible area, so they probably just left it there in the map, not having a tunable to be turned off since (as I said) Yankton isn't going to be a free roam map. Hope this made sense to you. Typed this up late at night, but maybe was worth it to help solve this mystery. Thanks.

I meant details by like: Certain story mission interiors that were accessible during the mission or objects that were needed to spawn during a mission and after doing it, it disappears (because that detail was only needed for that one mission). Direct examples: - GTA Online players can't access many SP interiors - characters during missions in SP only spawn during that mission (Kifflom, Vinewood Oldies, Dom, etc) Reverse example: - How the plane after the cargo hijack mission stays in the game after crashing it into the lake. Certain things you do in game triggers things for a temporary or permanent time.

Since North Yankton is an area that isn't accessible to the player outside of a mission, there's really no point to add an easter egg there, let alone something that the players will have to explore to find.

There are areas in the GTA series that are either not accessible during normal gameplay (or during any mission) or areas that no one would consider accessible yet there have been easter eggs in both kinds of areas.

TopRandomFacts probably North Yankton was supposed to be an accessible area in GTA 5 (EVIDENCE: Ludendorff) so they put a few Easter eggs in it, but the PS3/Xbox360 couldn't handle it, so the game developers had to make North Yankton inaccessible so the game could run properly.

ik this was a year ago but i still enjoy watching this myth episode also you could try installing an older version of the game where the glitch still exists and mabye then that would add more evidence to suggest that Brads ghost still exists? (this is just a theory that you could try out and it could possibly work if you have the right version of gta 5 where the glitch still works.)

Perphaps the game spawned a cop NPC but immediately de-spawned it as soon as possible, since it's not really supposed to be there outside of a mission, which might explain why Trevor reacted to something but didn't see anything.

The model of brads corpse is in itself an NPC. During the mission his body is spawned by default and outside of the mission there is no need to spawn it. This is why the grave is empty.

Actually,you can go to the exact same position on the map without the mods and u can still see North Yankton and explore it because i saw some players on gta online who reached the same exact location on the map and they were making stunts there!Not only that,but the reason you see the ocean in that spot it's because North Yankton is floating above the water!And i think if u can reach NY in online like that,it might be possible to reach it in single player too!(forgot to mention that the players reached the location with the chopper without any mods)!
