I know this is an old video but wanted to add that baby massage is a good class to do and really made me and my son something to enjoy as it really helped us both feel relaxed and bond.

Davina is devine! Loved this episode. Also Giovanna, you're an amazing interviewer. It's so rare an interviewer allows someone to just talk without constantly chipping in and Giovanna just listens and prompts when needed and it's wonderful.

My favourite episode of the entire podcast, so so positive about motherhood and birth. Exactly what I needed to listen to at 40 weeks pregnant. I never comment on anything but I enjoyed this so much!

This is such a relieve for a twenty year old, who wants to have kids, that there are people who liked/enjoy giving birth. It is brought so honest and with great tips you can never know unless you've been there. It helped me a lot!

Love this so much! I have a 4 month old baby and she was my first and Ive felt sometimes almost a loss of control due to everyone thinking they have the right to tell you what to do and was always petrified about the whole 'mothers know best' in the early days i remember just asking myself all the time how will I know what she needs and wants but you do, over time you learn your babies cry you learn what they like through trial and error and you just know if your baby is tired or hungry or just bored or over stimulated. The number one thing that everyone always says when my baby has been crying or having a meltdown is ' she sounds like she has colic' ' she has wind' and it used to infuriate me as I would explain no she's over tired or that she needed a feed and I still had family/friends try to wind her when I knew that my baby rarely ever had wind she would have one burp after a feed and be fine or sometimes no wind at all but sometimes I would doubt myself and think maybe they were right but never let anyone doubt your abilities as a mum, you know your baby and just do what you feel is right for your baby

I waited eagerly for Tuesday mornings through series 1, every episode was refreshingly honest. I'm chuffed that you're back with series 2. Being a mum of 6, so much that you discuss resonates with me and your guests are amazing. Also loving this extra bonus of being able to watch it too. 👍👌👏

Yay! So glad this podcast is back. To any new Mummies, I currently go to Jo Jingles with my 11 month old (since he was 12 weeks old) and we love it. Its where I've met all of my mummy friends and the class itself is really good. Giovanna-would you ever consider having regular Mums in your podcast? (Not saying that the guests you've had aren't regular Mums, I mean like a 'non' celebrity guest. Basically I'd love to come and chat to you about all things pregnancy and motherhood LOL.

Completely agree when you started speaking about fear. My first birth was terrible, I was so anxious and scared which made the whole experience worse! My second was an emergency c section which should have been scary but I was so relaxed I actually found I had a great birthing experience!

I'm 14 weeks pregnant with my first baby and I'm so relieved people are starting to talk about things like the symptoms of mastitis, that birth can be enjoyable and that your body can go back to (nearly) normal after pregnancy. There is so much scaremongering and pressure out there and people don't always know the right way to phrase things or you might not know who to ask. I'll be watching the rest of these and catching up with season 1. Thanks Gi xxx

I’m one of three kids & our parents always used to give us complete freedom as teenagers as long as we remembered safety. We were offered a glass of wine with dinner (we almost always declined), we were allowed to go to parties, if they knew there would be drinking we’d be given 2 cans to take with us. None of us have ever become addicted or “silly”, none of us have ever done drugs, because the novelty of breaking the rules was never there! Kids won’t rebel if there’s nothing to rebel against.
