No idea about Arch, but the recently released NixOS 24.05 has intel-compute-runtime 24.17.29377.6 which does appear to make Resolve work.

I can ABSOLUTELY CONFIRM it is working with my 2017 intel DELL LATITUDE quad core with Manjaro on it since yesterday.... i just opened terminal and typed this command.... This command wil install the needed dependencies and compilers from the arch repositories. (be patient i takes about 8 minutes, and make sure PLEASE, you dont have any Davinci version intalled previously)... Good luck!! pamac build davinci-resolve

To get a simple question out of the way is it possible to ger Resolve to work on a Laptop with basic an Amazon Basic b17ch 13Gen Intel Raptor Lake UHD Graphics, or not? Would be nice but, I don't need to chase my ass 'round if its a waste of time.

@@ChrisMcDonough Thanks for the link Heads up. For the interim I had to give up Linux. Since Windows XI (Just works!). But sooner or later I might come back to this. Hopefully v19 will be released in more of a flatpack whatchamacallit thingy that's only less Red Hat / Debian agnostic, and will actually become compatible with other non nVidia Cards.

Yo Chris, you won't believe this but I recognized your name as your nixos cfg repo is one of those that I visited very often, so thanks for that. Anyway, got a new Yoga with an Intel Arc GPU and I'll run nixos on it and I plan on using Resolve on it. I'll let you know if any of this works better on a newer architecture.
