"I" and "O" are the defaults for marking ins and outs in Davinci, so no need to customise. 😉 (Just in case anyone was wondering)

Question: Is there a way to cut a video at the play head without actually changing to the cut tool?

You can use the shortcut CTRL+B. If you are in the CUT Page you can even right click the playhead at the top and you will find a cut button.

@@manyll3709 YES, and where there are none I can create them. In Fusion there are no layers as understood in other software, in Fusion there is a pipeline that determines the priority of the nodes and therefore what has priority between effects and media.

@@manyll3709 Unfortunately Fusion is a huge piece of software and you have to learn the function of the single node and invent what the nodes tied together can do. Do you know the structure of node inputs, for example the merge node? Start by joining a few nodes at a time in a horizontal structure from left to right up to the MediaOut, doing it this way is much easier. Think of a river that runs from mountain to valley to the sea, and then think of tributaries that join along the way. This can help you better understand your workflow.
