I usually don’t comment on videos before I have watched them in their entirety but, after only 45 mins or so into this, I just have to tell you how incredibly useful it is. I’m relatively new to DaVinci Resolve but have taken a deep dive into it over the past few months. I am definitely way past the beginner stage so I was reluctant to invest a lot of time in another beginner class. I have been jotting down some of your tips and now I have already filled a few pages with info. This is so well presented and clearly explained. How generous of you to offer such a comprehensive tutorial for free. This is something special and I’ll recommend it to everyone I know. Thank you so much and I’m looking forward to continuing to the end and, I’m sure, will return again and again.

Wow, Jason! This was such an incredible and thorough tutorial. I truly appreciate the time and effort you put into making this video so detailed and easy to follow. As a beginner in DaVinci Resolve, your step-by-step instructions have been incredibly helpful-especially in understanding media and project file locations. Thanks to your clear explanations, I’m confident I won’t struggle with the RED Media issue anymore! I’d also love to see a tutorial on using Envato templates, including how to register their licenses. That would be really valuable for someone like me who’s still learning. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge, and please keep these amazing tutorials coming. You’re making a huge difference for so many of us!

Glad the video was helpful! Thanks for watching! I don't use Envato, but typically you just have to register your YT channel in your account. If you ever get flagged on KZbin or anywhere else, you can go to you account, download the license and then dispute the claim with your license for that piece of content. Hope this helps!

I agree! Im a huge believer in good audio, i cant tell you how fishing videos i watched with horrible loud music, or crackling like audio or when the the voice sounds as if there in a tunnel. I told myself before i even post a video i wanna learn Davinci resolve so my audio doesn't sound horrible. I'm striving for good audio. i know my audio will never ever be 100 percent perfect and to me that's fine since I'll be just starting out. Appreciate the video Jason! I'm definitely saving it to my Playlists!

Thank you, the timing couldn't have been any better. I watched your Blue Yeti video yesterday and somewhere in it you mentioned you do Davinci tutorials, so I said "oh perfect let me sub and I will come back to this channel in the morning". Opened KZbin and BAM there it was, a crash course for the exact software I downloaded and have no knowledge on how to use! Legit perfect timing, a sign really. I can't wait to dive into it! I am coming from Sony Vegas Pro, so I have basic knowledge on video editing, but DR has a TON more audio options in post, I am so excited!

I'm not sure I know what you want to do, I'm sure there are fancy AI ways to do it, but maybe just make a copy of the clip, mask out the head, then keyframe the masked head to do what you want....🤔

Thank you for your amazing videos!! I'm not sure if it has been covered or not, but can anyone advise how to eliminate unwanted inhale sounds when recording? My mic is so sensitive it picks up every single inhale 🤭. Can Fairlight identify these repetitive sounds and eliminate them? Am I asking too much of this program?

You're welcome! If you have the Studio version, Voice Isolation will take care of it for you. If you don't, thry using the expander or gate to help make it less noticeable. I've got videos on all that stuff.

Great video!! Just 1 question, in after effects when editing a 3D clip , you can add 1 effect and cut it multiple times , how can you do that in fusion?
@JasonYadlovski
@JasonYadlovski 6 күн бұрын
You can jump in the edit tab and make the cuts, that’s what I usually do.

It is really so good it is out there ALL the tutorial video's DVR. ( AND other subjects ) as a self learning person it is GREAT. In my hobby I do the same, teach for free. So money ( pricing ) is not a bump and kept as low as possible. I admire You and all who are sharing the knowledge. Who knows I still watch 2 hours...😄out of respect!!
