It is really hard to find content which is as authentic as it is. Really appreciated !!

Now THIS is the "secret sauce" ;) Such an insane amount of knowledge in your videos Cullen. Thanks!

I hate to be one of those "you deserve more subs" guys but damn these videos are so valuable. Many times distilling information down that watching several other videos and five times longer, still don't seem to get across. It is fun to be following a channel in the early days before it blows up though.

what again a fantastic tutorial this part II, and how much it's make sense. I'm really happy to have your trusty knowledges around the H vs Hue, H vs Sat, Hue vs Lum, and the color warper as a synthetic tool replacing the Versus. I won't used them like before. You're clear as water. This 3 parts series is a gem, to be rewatched anytimes. Contrast is all about the meanning of the colorist. The concept of substractives's color has now make sense to me. I was understanding the contraste helped with Tones adjustements, but not the color adjustements. Now you've put a light on my knowledges T H A N K S Cullen !

Isn't temperature is a "gain" function. Pivoting around 0 Avery Peck had a video about this. Maybe not when the wheels are Color Space Aware?

Are there common situations when you find yourself reaching for the split complementary technique?

no ! keep the music background, it's perfect and no disturbing at all. People complained but not me, find your music's choice coool and refreshing

Would you be able to adjust the colour contrast manipulating the raw settings (K) instead of the Temp control, when it's possible? I am thinking it should balance the contrast rather than changing it creatively. But maybe I am wrong here. Perhaps using both would be beneficial. Btw, I like the bg music :)

@@CullenKelly 🙏🙏🙏 I would love to see a colour space guide to see and understand the differences properly. Not sure this was in your plans but I guess your clean way to explaining things would interest others too.

Isn't color contrast more of a secondary? If so, would you typically apply it in your parallel node pipeline? Thanks for a fantastic series of tutorials!

Very informative and thoughtful content, will definetely watch whole channel! But that background music is distracting alot and making it hard to concentrate on voice.
@shakespit3 жыл бұрын
@@CullenKelly presence of music imo. I don't think that music adds something to your marvelous content. You can add music at intro and outro for branding reasons, but leave just a voice on main part. Do you remember Andrew Kramer's tutorials? He did exactly that with music.

The background noise is less noticeable out of the computer than out of headphones, but I would still find it much easier to listen without having to endure the builtin "entertainment".

Incredible lessons, incredible teaching. I very much appreciate the pace - it's slow with without being sluggish. Are there any videos available without the background music loop?
