2:22 “if we wanted to add more footage […] I have to scroll to the end and then I can add my next clip that I want to add…” You don’t have to do that. You can simply select your clip from the media pool, and then click on the “Append” button, which will add the clip to the end of your timeline.

@@JLStreetDoc I need more than the cut page and color page for what I want to do SO I think I’m gonna do the bulk of the editing and effects in Lumafusion and then use the color grading in DaVinci. You can unlock the rest of the tabs if in Davinci if you have a folio or Bluetooth keyboard and I have neither right now.

I bought my M2 iPad for this app, which I’ve not used the desktop version, so I wouldn’t need to drag my ROG Strix with me on dive trips. So I’m a newbie in all aspects of this software. Please keep these videos coming! Is there is an autocorrect/smart color correction button embedded in the app? Previously I run my dive videos through Dive+ color correction then edit and adjust the color further in Adobe Elements.

Go with iPad Pro, I have iPad Air 4 it’s working great, if you want little more powerful go for iPad Pro latest version, trust me most apple products are future proof, you can use it for minimum 4-5 year I saw many people using same device for more then 10 years and it’s still working may be update we lost after 5 years of any device but still work like a champ.

@@priyaa115 see if your budget allow go with latest one, and similarly case in storage point also, if you can, go with higher version you can store more data on your iPad itself but I think storing at iPad is stupid thing better have external storage for storing it on iPad or simply store it in your lappy. So mine suggestion is go with m2 with 64 or 128gb of iPad.

I think I’ll just still use lumafusion. I’m completely an amateur and that program is just so user friendly, while davinci resolve has such a high learning curve, I don’t see a reason to switch just for little home projects

This has changed. If I follow your directions, I get a long dialogue of places that does not include the photo library. Strictly by accident I put my finger down in the media window, not on the import media button. I got the menu that allowed me to import from my photo library.

I have paid for both. It depends on if you need advance features then buy Davinci. Know that everything you can do in the paid Lumafusion you get for free with Davinci

LumaFusion is simple and very easy to master in just an hour, and of course you do have the pinch and zoom timeline. However, I do think da Vinci resolve is going to leave it way behind within a year or so plus the fact that you have 10 layers on da Vinci and only six on LumaFusion. Good luck.

I own luma and davinci. Luma is much to restricted in features and no pleasure to use. You will never touch luma again if you own davinci resolve
