Does that app allow you to edit your own pic, like skin tone, blemishes or enhance? I absolutely hate pics of myself, and am trying to learn all this to ( hopefully) start a reaction video.😮😊

Awesome video bro. I am small KZbinr, and I think that for small channels the most important thing is to get good presence from the beginning. If you are not popular, people won't care even if you have the best videos and the best content on platform. I am not beginner anymore, but I know how hard it can be (and honestly if I haven't used a lot of Famester, I would have quit a long time ago. It made everything much easier for me, especially getting to 1000 subs and 4000 view hours).

The problem with consistency is that everybody forgot why it was a thing in the first place. And now everybody just throws the word around applying it to everything and doing either negative or positive videos about it without providing any context. Consistency originally became a thing related to growth and posting schedules, as in if you post now and then, sometimes a week apart, sometimes 3 weeks apart, the channel won’t grow - and the original advice that was given was to stay consistent and upload on a schedule, weekly, monthly whatever - consistently posting on a regular schedule over time would faster give a channel growth compared to inconsistently posting videos. And that advice still holds true. But then people started making videos attributing the consistency thing to everything between heaven and earth - like in this video where you start off by talking about consistently posting the same videos over and over again without improving, and then you switch over to talking about consistently improving from video to video - so you switch from saying consistency is bad, to consistency is good, so you aren’t even being consistent about using the word consistency - but regarding completely different things: posting schedule and lack of improvement vs improving with every video (but posting consistently is still good I guess?) Jumping back and forth between what the word consistency is applied to not only confuses people, but it also further dilutes the point of the advice, but in an age where growth advicers are running on empty from time to time the simplification of terms and lack of context makes a lot of videos end up meaningless. The use of consistency as a term has no meaning without it being paired with something specific, like upload schedule or improvement, and here, by just using the term with no context in the title, and then applying it to completely different aspects of making videos, frequency of posting vs lack of improvement vs improvement, it does not help people understand. Uploading on a consistent schedule, while consistently trying to improve is good advice - a regular schedule and improving that one thing pr video is solid advice for growth, and long term results - but that advice does of course not fulfill the requirement of shock value in the title of somebody talking bad about concistency ;) If one type of consistensy is bad, and another type of consistensy is good (like you said in the video), then the word concistensy is not the problem, the context is, and that would be something worth making a video about, how ‘tubers consistently use the word consistent out of context or in different contexts … which gave me an idea for my next video … gotta run
@CollinMichaelКүн бұрын
I would think the problem is how consistency is used because it is often used without clarity. If you don’t tell people how to be consistent (like with improvement) then they are left to their own devices which leads to 1,000+ uploads with no success. This makes “consistency” bad advice because it lacks the needed context.
@AndreSjoberg23 сағат бұрын
@ And there you have the proper script for your video ;) But consistency is not bad advice, lack of context or clarity around which type of consistency is bad though - and that would be a helpful video. Consistency in general is good in many areas of creation, the problem is lack of self-review and quality control and lots of other things. By using just the word «consistency» in the title of the video without context you fall into the pit that many of the other ‘tubers fall into, not providing context, especially when you in the video say we have to consistently improve, suddenly turning consistency into a good thing when used to improve things :) I’m totally on board with the whole «people who just say you need to be consistent» and «consistency is king» mafia usually miss the point by not going into what areas it’s important to have consistency, but by doing the title this way and the example the video sort of contributes to the confusion, like «should I not be consistent?» - of course we both know we should be consistent in many areas to make good videos, and myself I’m consistently inconsistent but still growing my channel somehow, so there is that ;)
