Character or otherwise, Davion is like the version of myself I dreamed of being, but after going through all 3 books to see how both his story started and ended it was truly an honor. I'll never forget you my friend, for so long as there's fire in my soul both you and Slyrak will never be forgotten.

DAMN! What a masterpiece! Davion isn't my favourite character (though I definitely like him) but this tribute is amazing. It perfectly encapsulates his character, journey and development. Absolutely Brilliant! Do you plan to do any more of these from the DOTA: Dragon's Blood show? I'd love to see you work your magic on The Invoker :)

The one and only issue I have with this series is that I feel like it rushes to get from plot point to plot point without really spending time to dwell on its characters. What I mean by that is that it hardly explores their inner conflicts and regrets and successes. I can't love these characters because I don't feel like I know them well enough. The only character I feel that got some semblance of the character exploration they deserved is the Invoker, but I'd love to know more about him still. Davion is a good character, and for what it's worth, I like the characters but I don't love them. I love the setting. I love how much potential it has. But I don't love that it glosses over a lot of things. It shows us the bare bones of the elves' cultural structure, the dragons' role in creating the entire universe, Dragon hold and the Dragon Knights, and even Terrorblade. I don't feel the crisis as strongly as Davion and the others seem to because we never got the time to see how threatening he really is. It hardly touches on Mirana's goddess powers and her romance with Davion seems rushed. And Luna's redemption never feels like she earned it. It feels like everyone forgot about the atrocities she committed. We're supposed to view her as a protagonist even though we haven't seen her try to make amends and have a moral crisis. There's a whole arc about that that could've been explored, same with Davion and the fact that a *fucking dragon,* who he's spent his entire life hating, is now a part of him. Overall, those issues severely weaken the overall story. Still, great job on this Davion tribute.

They did what they could with the resources and time they had. At least they gave us a good series that can be further expanded by a part of the community that has also become fond of this story...

Never played the game but I enjoyed the show. Season 3 though not so much cuz Davion dies & I thought 2 was bad cuz of Marci Lina & Winter dragon. In Season 4 if there is wonder if they'll bring em back.
