Boomerang was around eight years old in this dog's last show. Was into a young brindle dog around two and half years old owned by Mr. Howard Teal. I saw this last show. The dog used by Mr. Teal was off a brother to Bass' Red Boy named Big Mack bred to that very hard biting Medlin's Rose that Mr. Teal won a show or two with.

Another Great Job my friend. Ronnie done his first interview, probably, a tad more than 40 years ago. He was explaining that Suzi, sister too Boomerang, was bread back to her daddy, Craver's Pistol = 3/4 Pistol him self, too make Miss Pistol, so this is what makes Pistol Pete a little different than Boomerang, because of the extra shot of his dad Carvers. Pistol. This is why when his family were referred to as Boomerang, he would try to explain the difference.... He would say that "These are more Pistol blood" Womack's Mert was off Gabon's Ch. Goldie, of "Cajun Country" and finley, after many years, Ronnie, did his homework, saw what they were and brought the Family, back home too Cajun Country, in South West Louisiana.. Where a lot of History was made........ again....

Hearts go out to the Duhon family they lost Mr Ronny the 19th of this month gone he will be missed a man of many achievements with this strain of Carver blood ,another boomerang fancier he is in bulldog heaven ,he done it his way I'm prtty sure he had no regrets he was one of the greats n his own right known for dogs like Ch Moon ,Lil Pistol n some others to say the least he was good freinds with men like J Bennett,LG,A Lacefeild, Ra Fauls, mr Wags, truly will be missed never met him but always heard good things about him real standup gentleman

Double bred on Tudor's Dibo. Dibo is really the foundation of the modern day American Pitbull Terrier. So many good ones trace their lineage back to Dibo. Dibo was welped in the early 50's and his blood is still as strong as ever. I'd say I pray I get a stud half as good as him and even then you'd have an all time great. Boomerang appears in a video where Baker Davis says "he was never close to being hurt" it was in some sort of documentary. i'll send the link.

You said it and it's all true. Boomerang was a great dog by all accounts and bear some top dogmen like Howard Teal. Also,he was only bred around 10 times and his influence is still felt today and there's bloodlines named after his offspring and progeny like Spike/Black Widow. I've seen the vid. I Heard Snakeman tell a story about Boomerang and Zebo were contracted to Match into each other But it was Raided by the Police and the Dog's were taken but Money was paid to get the Dog's back but they never was able to Get another Match put Together .

I heard Boomerang was on B.Sorrells' yard for a while. If you knew Bert, he might've referred to many of his dogs as Boomerang dogs even though Boomerang appears no where on their peds.

I don't know about that but I did see a daughter of Boomerang on his yard when I visited him in 1983. I think her name was Miss Boomerang. I've never heard of Boomerang being on someone else's yard besides Baker Davis,his owner.

He was adamant about his dogs being Boomerang dogs, more so than the R.Sorrells dogs, in which he referred to as Mickey Mouse shit. Out of his own mouth, he told me he would sell the cake, but not the recipe. It's funny, because his buddy, B.Smith (Arizona) also called his dogs Boomerang dogs, even though the dog might only show up one time in 5 or 6 gens on their peds. LMAO

@Mark Ballard The fact that he bred to Miss Boomerang does not mean they were heavily bred Boomerang dogs as he used her as an outcross. Almost the same with Bobby as Billy was a grandson of Boomerang and Billy was bred to Sorrells Miss Boomerang so Boomerang would appear twice in that ped,although close up. Duhon's(R. Sorrells)Boomerang stuff was heavily bred on Boomerang,moreso than Bert's stuff.

It's been a while, but what I'm trying to tell you is that each of them in their own way told me that their dogs weren't bred like what they had on paper is the way I took it. I have my own suspicions. Bobby's dogs started to look more and more like Berts over time. It seems they got leggier, and the white blaze became less frequent. The last inbred litter I saw of Bobby's were bucksin with a really light buskin mask, forelegs and feet. Don't mean nothing I don't guess.

They did that in the name of purity but 100% pure junk is still junk. It looks good on paper and they could produce when crossed but heavy inbreeding has ruined more family of dogs than anything else
