Check out Palma Ceia if you get the chance not far from where you were. The homes around the Palma Ceia Golf Course dwarf some of these homes 👍🏼 Tampa has a lot of hidden wealth and a lot of Federal Agents and military families. Central Command And Southern Command are located at MacDill Air Force Base main operations center for a lot of the military excercises overseas. 😎

The older houses are the original houses on Davis Island before the huge Mansions. Tampa has other multi million dollar houses in other areas not just Davis Island. North Tampa as well as other areas of South Tampa as well. I was born and raised in Tampa 66 years. You might want to look up the history of Tampa and find out about the areas you are touring first to have a better idea of our City.

Which is better Davis or harbor?

Davis island has more older population and architecture and is great for families. Harbor island is better for young people looking to have more of a night life as you’re close to downtown and channel side. Harbor island has newer architecture and more for young people . You really can’t go wrong with neither ;)
