I think one of the reasons that they think you are an Arab is because you keep greeting everyone with assalamo aleikom which is Arabic. That is not Iranian. In Iran, they just say salaam.

Beloved Kashmiri Paisley design/ Iran 's Liberty of London shop. Can't tell you how much absolute delight this video has given me. It first started off as a video game, going towards that stunning stain glass window (I thought it was a church related place when I spotted it in your last video). I was so happy to hear the owner of the shop mention my beloved Kashmir, the famous paisley design of Kashmir, though I vaguely recall my Mother also referring to it as the mango design - and she dressed in it a lot in my childhood. We used to have some amazing fabric shops in the UK then - think only real place you can get fabric now from is John Lewis and the world renowned Liberty of London. This place actually reminds me a little of Libertys. I'll go back to the door, superb workmanship and having watched the Prince's Master Crafters - next generation on Sky (Prince Charles tv programme) - one episode several weeks ago was a class in stain glass lead windows and their stuff was childs play. The craftsmanship in that door is top class! 💎. Going back to the fabrics and upholstery - exquisite designs and craft here, Alhamdulillah, those 'Quran' boxes, something I would definitely like to buy, my Mum was just complaining some months back that we didn't have quality coverings, she was rightly most annoyed about it - we tend to have fabric coverings. Davud that was a kind gesture to buy the blush pink bag for the hostel manager, lol I was exclaiming buy the burgundy one, my favourite of the three and more practical as it can be used longer, wont get dirty as quick. Everything in that shop was like a shoppers delight, actually my sibs would be in here quite alot! Wonder if I could persuade them to go on a family holiday. Sadly as soon as you get an Iranian stamp in your passport you start being eyed suspiciously in most Western countries. Lets hope thing s improve in the coming years but even today's BBC breaking news, things didn't sound that way. I was also intrigued to hear the owner say that Kashmir was once a part of Iran and will look into this further. As many know Kashmir it currently split three ways - Pakistan, India and China. Not sure what is going on in the China bit (hopefully not what happened to the Uighars), Indian soldiers of course are continuously raping and butchering the unfortunately placed Muslim s of Kashmir. Lets face it that is what modern day invaders do. I mean just yesterday it came out in our news that t he SAS had been murdering innocent Afghans. Having seen the fantastic infrastructure of Iran that I've seen through Davud's vlogs - it is a no brainer as to which country Kashmiris would want to be attached to. The poverty in India is overwhelming and a child there is abducted every 6 minutes. Pakistan is safer but they seem to currently being gobbled up by China (we've just seen what all their meddling has done to Sri Lanka), i mean that road to Hunza that they helped built, Davud's videos showed that they are already collapsing. As for the tunnels seriously no lights?!!! How dangerous is that!! And the costs go into t he billions. The leaders of Pak look like the ones in Sri Lanka - corrupt. On the other hand you have Iran who have been having non stop sanctions but through these vlogs as far as I the common person can see the Imams cant be doing such a bad job and it looks pretty safe to me on a personal level based solely on the vlogs. While I know that Davud only does these videos for holiday trekki ng purposes, when me the common person watches alot of the videos and quite frankly Ive binged on them while off sick, you start to automatically compare the different countries. I mean I didn't know what a great place Sri Lanka was and I have Sri Lankan friends in the Uk. It's been an eye opener. Now I will shut up from this long rang and say thank you Davud for these valuable videos.

Azerbaijani people are Turks. Over the past millennia, the territory of today's so-called Iran was ruled by Turkic dynasties starting from the Ghaznavids, Seljuks, Timurids, Safavids and ending with the Qajars. At the early 20th century the Persian Pahlavi dynasty stole power from the Turks with the help of European powers, mainly Britain. Until that time there had never been a country called Iran. Since that day the Persians nationalists have been discriminating against Azerbaijani Turks and other minorities. Azerbaijani Turks are not a minority in Iran, but the majority. The Iranian current ayatollah regime is systematically assimilating them. There are over 40 million Turks live in Iran, but they don't even have the schools in Turkish language. The regime persecutes every Turk who demands a school or any other basic human rights.
