It has a population of more than 8 million and a metropolitan population of around 11 million, making it the third most populous city and fifth most populous urban agglomeration in India, as well as the largest city in South India, and the 27th largest city in the world.
I was having so much fun, and my bazaar exploration was getting more and more exciting. I felt like at some point, I was annoying people, but still, I got smiles from strangers.

Hi davud, great videos and great to see you are learning to bargain now! I just want to point out the greeting ‘namaste’! It’s mostly used in the northern part of India, but here in south we greet differently. It’s namaskara in Bangalore, Karnataka, vanakkam in Tamil Nadu, namaskaram in Andhra/TS and Kerala.

Stop incessantly saying namaste to every stranger. we don't use that so frequently and it's actually annoying to hear that every 30 seconds. It's a formal greeting not deployed in everyday to day usage. that's why you don't get a response back some time cause they think you are weird. Indians understand and say hello. hello is a universal greeting in India.

This is called Mysore road "Avenue Road". You are good at showing all the dirt and waterlogged areas along with a few amazing shopkeepers and business. But a shame is , you didn't see a temple that is of "Krishna devaraya" ( Vijayanagara ruler who's street were full of gold and diamond merchants ) . Additionally you missed an important business lesson... I.e. second hand books vendors, if it's not famous then they wouldn't keep it. Finally towards the end you would got an awesome jalebi vendor and just opposite to that shop we have a red "British era building" which can't be missed by any tourist but ya ... Happy that you got a chance to the free waterpark, good memories!

If you're still in the area, you'll get the best hole in the wall places for food (only people who live in the area mostly know about it 😉). Go for Muddanna (next to dharmarays Swamy temple) for rice bath, idli etc. Ask for biryani Govind Rao for one of the best biryani in Bengaluru
