I own, and have read the Quran, which is why I said what I did earlier. It's 7th century literature, for 7th century people with 7th century knowledge. As for the demands made on today's believer's, and the way it's practiced, leaves much to be desired. I find it sad that so many are forced to live 'blinkered' lives, and are unable to reach their true potential due to dogma. A truly depressing situation.........

Sahih Bukhari V6 Bk61 No510 So 'Uthman sent a message to Hafsa saying, "Send us the manuscripts of the Qur'an so that we may compile the Qur'anic materials in perfect copies and return the manuscripts to you." Hafsa sent it to 'Uthman. "In case you disagree with Zaid bin Thabit on any point in the Qur'an, then write it in the dialect of Quraish, the Qur'an was revealed in their tongue." your right jesus didnt say those exact words but he did say. my father and I are one. and when you have seen the father you have seen me. jesus never says he was a man nor did he say he was a prophet but he was. also John 20:28-29 says, "Thomas answered and said to Him, "My Lord and my God!" 29 Jesus said to him, "Because you have seen Me, have you believed? Blessed are they who did not see, and yet believed."

We've all broken God's law by lying, stealing, lusting, etc. God is just, and cannot forgive guilty criminals without justice being done. That would make Him an evil judge. Muslims say God forgives in exchange for our good deeds. That is bribery. Do you think the true God accepts bribes? The Bible teaches that He made a way to maintain justice and forgive us. He became a man, and paid for my sins on the cross. I can be forgiven--not because of anything I've done, but because of what He's done.

but we as men are carnal & unable to please G-d in our own minds & efforts.Therefore, the only freedom a person can have is by the GRACE of G-d in Christ Jesus. Freedom from sin is a gift from G-d by faith in the life & resurrection of Jesus; acceptance from G-d is NOT by any act that anyone can complete or claim self-credit for. When a person decides to receive the free gift, THEN G-d gives them a new life in His Spirit by the atonement of Jesus which gives freedom from the power of sin.
