Ali (as) was most superior in Taqwa after Prophet Mohammed (SAW). In wisdom, truth, piety, honor, excellence. And the same goes for Imam al Hassan (AS), Imam al Hussein(AS), Imam Zain-al-Abedeen (AS), Imam Mohammed al Baqir (AS) , Imam Jaffer as Sadiq (AS), Imam Musa al Kadhim (AS), Imam Ali al Ridha (AS) , Imam Mohammed Taqi (AS) , Imam Ali Naqi (AS) , Imam Hassal-al-asghery (AS) , Imam al Mahdi (AS). And thus we take our knowledge and understanding of Islam from the best. Quran commands us to pray, but does not specify how. We learn to pray from the best. And as Islam is complete in every aspect. We learn to Worship the Creator from Prophet Mohammed (SAW) and 12 Imams and everything around life from charity to family we take from the best of Allah worshipers.

Surah Maryam verse 87 and 109 (19:87) (19:109) reference the power of intercession Surah Zakhraf verse 86 (43:86) references the power of intercession Surah Baqarah verse 255 (2:255) references the power of intercession All by permission of Allah SWT and those who made covenant to him.
