BTW, Best Power Wash Combo, IMO, is just using the yellow nozzle with aim mode on. Least amount of motion sickness with max amount of washing. Use the mouse wheel to rotate the scaffolding after picking it up. There's also the Laura Croft and Final Fantasy 7 DLCs for Power Wash. The main story has some lore bits added since long ago. Matpat might be happy about those. Pity about the scaffolding getting stuck for you. It's way better than the ladder.

Sometimes when I play for long stretches of time I start to get a little motion sick from the moving camera. One of the things that helps me a lot is pressing C, which lets me move the power washer independently from the camera. It might help you too if you decide to play more of this game. (I'd love to watch you play more btw)

Don't need MatPat to make a theory. This one is gonna be decent, not MatPat good, but a theory is a theory. Plankton wanted to make workers who would work for free & would be loyal to him. So he made an invention to make sentient algae & mud, & made their first task; to take everyone's house & put them around the Chum Bucket. It tried to, but of course something goes wrong. As soon as the sentient algae & mud made contact with anything, they'd instantly melt into gunk. And that's my theory on why the homes of Bikini Bottom is so gunked up & algae coated.
