I am proud of my mother. She was raised by her grandmother, a full blooded Abenaki. To find peace you must fight, fight like a leaf in the wind.

Beautiful story. Incredible to hear it in the Abenaki language. As an Abenaki, would love to learn the language. believe the Brink family had something to do with this. love to get a hold of them

Kizit8gwak the Creator did not destroy the stone people for He is the Creator not the destroyer He gives life not take it away. He transformed the stone people into the MKWESU or little people whose role was to guard the creation against men whom wishes it harm. That is why we give offerings of tobacco to the little people when entering a forest to show them or good intesions: to only take what we need.
