I'm right behind you having been born in 1959 .. my early childhood memories are of watching the Ed Sullivan Show with my parents and older brother & sister who were in their teenaged years .. so I was able to learn the lyrics, singing along to the records they bought. It's not a coincidence that I work in the music industry. Music has brought me more joy in life than anything else. The Beatles are the reason!

@@youngblood2 once when I was a young girl my oldest brother came home driving a immaculate powder blue & white 1957 Chevy!!! To this day it’s The Most Beautiful Car Ive ever seen. He took me out & showed it to me & told me I bought this one for you Buddy!!! Not only is She Beautiful she came into this world in 1957 just like you. I ran into his arms crying!!! I was SO SO HAPPY. That wasn’t very long lived. His wife who was a B & jealous of anyone he loved especially me who’d only been 15 months old when they married told me in no uncertain terms that she was the wife therefore next in line for anything he owned just broke my heart!!! And me being the first girl after five brothers well I had never been treated like that. I thought she loved me. She’d acted like it before she got him trapped into a marriage by lying,,, but My Mama NEVER trusted her & she was right. So as the story goes I ran to my daddy’s shop where he was working with Old Betty right on my heels telling me how she’d whip my little ass. Bad move. Daddy put me behind him & told her to hit the road before He whipped hers. My brother heard her yelling & me screaming figured out she was after me and came to my defense and heard what Daddy told her which he backed up 💯 & told her she’d messed up big time & better get her hateful ass in the car before she got left there with mama & daddy. She didn’t want that. Mama would’ve beat her over her mistreating us little ones. Then on New Years Eve that year they went to a New Years Eve party, had a fight over her talking down to him in front of all of his friends,,, He’d told her to come on were leaving which she refused but had another guy bring her home but he was trying to catch them & had a wreck that had broke a telephone pole into 3 pieces & wiped out about 5 cars on the parking lot who’s pole he’d broke. The police on the scene radioed for a hearse instead of an ambulance. My Bubbas friend told them he’d seen him move & he’d best be calling him an ambulance. The did but thought he was dead when they picked him up. My next to oldest got mama & us younger kids to take us and show us the place where the wreck took place & then by to see my car which by that time I couldn’t care less about!!! I just wanted My Bubba to be ok. He was ok, thank God but never the same. Sorry I made a short comment longer but I had to mention the 1957 Chevys which are super special to me. My Car!!! And by the time I could drive those cars were high as a kite!!! To this day they’ve only gotten higher & at 67 years old I’ve accepted I’ll NEVER own one but I got to keep my brother for years after the crash!!! And if you didn’t know it,,, you’d be hard pressed to even know what that mangled up heap of metal ever was. But in my mind I’ll Always See the BEAUTY HE BROUGHT HOME TO ME THAT DAY!!!

In this documentary the following is contributed to Pete Best in 1962: "the Ford Capri car he had almost decided to buy". It is well possible that he wanted to buy a car, in that year, but it was definitely NOT a Ford Capri. The Ford Capri was not on the market until the year 1969. 😊

The Beatles are great because their trip began under unfavorable circumstances. As the gentlemen interviewed earlier said, the demands of their experience in Hamburg were responsible for forging the Beatles. These ambitious young men who sought to become respected professionals, dedicated musicians, composers, and performers had to starve at some point. Although the other members contributed to the Beatles' remarkable success, John, the most dedicated by temperament, looked past just becoming a rocking roll band that provided the fuel to make the Beatles a rocket. With the melding of developing technology entering the Beatles, what would have been pop music became high art. In the story, we see instances of mean-spirited possessiveness, coveting all that is necessary when creating something envisioned to be totally new and different. In all ambitious and passionate endeavors, eggs are bound to be cracked. Without a doubt, the significant impact of the Beatles has been the width and depth of popular music's reach. An entire way of communicating, beginning with the youth of the globe, had become established. The concept of "generations" as a conceptual phenomenon associated with communication technologies revolutionized imaginations about the importance of the individual in youth beginning life's journey. Conveying ideas and sentiments had become universalized through the universal language of music. Recall the movies that introduced the Beatles to us with sounds combined with visual narratives and how effective they were compared to today? I appreciate your work so much I had to congratulate you by selfishly sharing my views on the topics. Forgive me for being overdramatic.

Finally! @1:06:00, the truth comes out. As much as I love George Martin and understand fully how much influence he had on polishing the boys' music, he was not the man who 'discovered' The Beatles. Syd Coleman was. Further research will show that Syd directed George Martin to prepare a contract and sign them, which means The Beatles' first session at EMI was NOT an audition. It was a recording session for Syd's newly-signed group.

2:01:08 John and Paul "...didn't even read" the contract for the Beatles as they are becoming publishers. Is this true? If so, wow! Artists should be kept an eye on... It's too easy for those who can profit from "artists" (but who cannot create) to become cynical and jealous, much like God versus the Angel Devil. (25% split six ways to the Beatles, and Epstein was far from a good deal! Even I'd have told them that! The Beatles are to be screwed for 10 long years with a 10-year contract just when things are about to get good. "Trustworthy," indeed, Paul. It's no wonder Paul sought to secure Michael Jackson's publishing rights to compensate for past "psychological losses." Now, it's all about the Beatle's legacy, through which John and Paul share a bond from the beginning into the afterlife. Touche, good work, Sir Paul. We all respect and love you because you've made it this way. Keeping up the "beat" Paul and John (or John and Paul), Liverpool, rock and roll original gangsters. Hahaha.

I believe Paul was the reason nearly every member of the Quarrymen/Beatles quit the band? Ringo even quit in 1968 because of Paul telling him how to play drums, and George in 1969 because Paul telling him what to play on guitar. Everyone knows Paul use to give Stuart a hard time until he events quit. Paul was very sneaky and back stabbing.

I have read John was fed up dealing with Pete’s overbearing mother. I hope I’ve got the right Beatle connected to the right mother. On another related note, the impression we have of Ringo, is he has a sense of humor, and doesn’t take himself too seriously. He was also the oldest of the four. He was the one that would keep everybody calm when tensions were running high. But there’s another part to the story that deserves an honorable mention. In those days, bands often broke furniture and fights broke out with patrons, including outside the venue, after the gig. It was one strategy to attract patrons to the clubs for some reason. Rowdiness meant musicians couldn’t be depended upon, because of sickness, injury, syphilis, etc. When John offered Ringo the position of drummer, Ringo told him he had a prior commitment to play that weekend with another band, and he wasn’t B going to leave them hanging high and dry, so let me know if you’re able to wait. And the rest is history!
