This version is the best cuz it has the best soundtrack syncing for each scene , same sound track but this one is used perfectly in each scene , i wish i knew which cut this was because theres like six or seven different versions of this film & im not just talking about the length im also referring to certain version lengths also having different music syncing Can u please tell me the official name of This particular version please???? I've owned several versions of this on DVD & Blu Ray & none of them had this exact synced soundtrack in this order !!!! The 2 & 1/2 hour version I've owned has the soundtrack different!!!!! I've owned the 2 hour US theatrical version , the 2 hour Argento version & the 2 1/2 hour US version & none of them are this version!!!! Where do I find this on disc to buy??? Is this like the extended Argento version or something???

it's a fan edit bootleg that was (and still is?) free on the internet. it was billed under "dawn of the dead: extended mall hours version" or some junk close to that. i owned but never watched it to see what different though.

It might be from another movie/project (no idea) but a character explains that the immigrant population there is keeping their dead bodies for traditional reasons, which is problematic and warrants a raid because, well, you know, zombie outbreak.

Ive always taken it as three things, 1 - social commentary like all of his films, immigrants and the way they are attacked and treated by the Police, and 2 - stories of zombies originally came from Voodoo rites in Africa, they also have more reverence for the deceased. 3 - Also its what kickstarts them to leave on their journey after what theyve just seen
