"For what it is worth. I understood all too well her woe of brotherly abandonment." Such a layered villain Kyras is. I always found that so interesting and it gives a deeper insight into his motivations in the fact that him and Moriah when battling Ulkair on Aurelia were abandoned by their fellow brothers when fighting the Great Unclean One all those years ago. Makes you think that his reason for doing what he does in Retribution is more than fanatical Nihilism.

The amount of stupid that is committed by the Eldar in this campaign is hilarious, and it's exactly why they're my favorite Warhammer faction. Here they go beyond picking pointless fights with the imperium, they pick pointless fights with other Eldar. They'd honestly be better off forgetting that prophecies even exist for all the good it does them.

I personally love it because it really does establish that they're being arrogant, snarky jackasses even when talking with each other.

Nice. I don't think I played the eldar campaign because the other campaigns were just too fun. Specifically the Chaos and Imperial Guard campaigns.

I played them all on hard and it was quite interesting to play all the different races since they were so different. Tyrannids: Broken, felt so easy, just spam warriors and summon troops in when you get low. Troops auto reinforce and your hero is very tanky. Eldar: crap except for the warp spider summon and the extremely powerful but frail autarch who basically can solo a lot if you micro her. Imperial Guard: extremely broken once you level up Bernn since his execute ability is so powerful Space Marines: pretty versatile but not extremely powerful. The invisibility armour is amazing though, especially on plasma cannon Ancient. Units pretty bad though. Chaos Space Marines- cool shrine mechanics, heroes pretty powerful especially Sorceror at killing infantry. Orks- Bluddflagg and Bomb guy are both amazing, Stormboy a bit underwhelming tbh.

@@expandingflames5225 i played the chaos and ork ones a decade ago, i only controlled neroth, kain, nailbrain and brikfist as i played it coop. i remember kain becoming extremely cheesy when you give him a heavy bolter but upgrade him with the ability to shoot it without setting the gun up. brikfist was good when micro managed to jump around

@@expandingflames5225 Lol Eldar's Wraithguard was the most broken thing for me in the campaing, literally just walked throught most mission with Wraithguard spam in hardest difficulty. Was almost as easy as Tyrannids.
