Yea sucks when you have those kind of days, just not in the zone at all and or the waves just closing out. You should get the bamboo (version 2) seaside fins. I find the fins make top to bottom surfing better than the original black ones.

Good thought on the fins. I did pick up the slater cymatic board and think that board will be better for those steeper days. But I also think mostly it was just me. I was in a funk. Had a good session few days later. 😀

Do you own a twin fin yet? Try the seaside as twin I've been having a blast surfing like that. Crack some of those end sections too your always in the right place @ the end of ride.

The ebert red stripe is a Twinny. It’s amazing 🤩. Check out my red stripe vlog from a few days ago. It’s fast loose and skatey. I will have to try the seaside as a twin one day tho.

@craigphillips6496 that’s why I haven’t really tried it as a twin. Fin boxes location seem like it wasn’t really made to be a twin although I hear it could work. I have a legit twin board and it’s pretty fun.

@craigphillips6496 I run a pretty big al Merrick keel my toe side rail, and a Machado keel under the heel I really like the way that set up feels. It is a bit squirrelly initially but when I got used to it, I just really enjoyed how it surfed for me. My seaside is 6'1
