Just wanted to say that Nate’s KZbin channel doesn’t stop bringing the Gnar! This dude has been charging for like 2 years straight. Seems like every week he is half way around the world from the prior week surfing another monster wave in an isolated locale. No other surf channel is coming close to delivering as much hardcore diehard big wave content as Nate. Nate winning surfer of the year was so deserved and honestly I think he deserves it again. Thanks for bring us along for the ride Nate and getting so much great footage 🙌🏼🤙🏼

I was there a couple weeks ago, during the first swell. The wave is so difficult to even read. I sat there watching for a couple hours and still couldn't figure it out. There was massive looking waves that ended up being junky inside ones. There were perfect looking bowl ones that ended up clamping. And there were ones I thought weren't doable that ended up being the waves of the day. This has got to be one of the most technically difficult big waves in the world, and it's pretty insane to get even one good one. Incidentally I'm in Margaret River right now, I saw John surf his first heat. It sucks that it's so small right now, but still cool to see him surf.
