Dawn’s Mini 17, FOUND! No wonder I was unable to operate Reverse correctly, It’s only done 20k’s ??

Some of the damage was probably done when Nev dropped the clutch while rolling, trying to free it from reverse about a year ago. Obviously one of the loose bits was already free and had blocked the gears from selecting successfully. Glad to see the mystery solved - it was never going to be solved until the motor was taken out again and gearbox inspected so happy this has happened.

Not quite the most sympathetic way to respond to a engagement issue, after this part of the process it will be much easier to use the gearbox
