2 Timothy 4:3-4 King James Version (KJV) 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

The Life you offer God as your living sacrifice is your EVERYTHING. If you are born again you have received the Perfect Life of Christ as your own and Christ is your EVERYTHING so offer Christ as your Living Sacrifice to God. Those of this world love this life and offer their own lives as their sacrifice-those of God offer Christ as their tithe, living sacrifice and good fruit offering to reap Christ as their Reward. If the seed in you is Christ then Christ is your Good Fruit. Taste and See that the Lord is Good Fruit.

Jeff Parker sorry, but God always was a specialist in showing the man what he truly is, like with Gideon or Joshua. This sermon is totally acceptable in the light of the word

@@yomiobadimeji5403 she read from the passion translation which isn’t a biblical translation 😂 go read the rev and follow along with her and see how what she reads doesn’t translate to the bible at all.. you need to read your word and stop calling everyone who chooses to read scripture and take the word of GOD serious a Pharisee
@Audrey788715 жыл бұрын
This supposed ‘self-discovery’ sermon is projecting pure Gnosticism. The Bible does not teach this. It is not about the self because we are fallen, broken people. Rather, it is all about Jesus and what HE did for us. Shameless egoism has infiltrated the church and leaders are full-heartedly embracing it.
@notmyown1134 жыл бұрын
Did you listen to the sermon? Because if you did you would hear that it is about desiring God, that our whole hearts are searching for Him. So, ultimately, it is about God. This isn't about an ego, its about surrendering to God, to his will, and how that plays out in our life. Yes, we have to focus on God, but we still need to get ourselves in the position of surrender - and often (because we are fallen, broken people) there are people who need help with this! And that is what she is explaining. That to live the sort of life that honors God we need to desire him with all our heart. When we know 'ourselves', it means we know God, because he is the one that defines us, creates us, and gives purpose to our lives. By focusing fully on God, we can become who he intended us to be - a people who give all the glory and bring honor to his name. Our lives should point to him. And that is what she is talking about. Watch the sermon before summing it up. x

She calls on the Holy Spirit at the beginning to help her speak, so why are you condemning Gods spirit in her?
@bobs80055 жыл бұрын
This is wack. Psalm 37 is about delighting yourself in God...and in turn God is giving you the desires of your heart which is Him. Anything our hearts desire other than Him are sin and idolatry. Basic Christianity. Psalm 37 does not mean God will give you whatever you want...it means He will place His desires within you...no legitimate understanding of that passage can mean anything else Oh and Passion Translation is not a legit translation. If you go to Vous Church read your Bible and study on your own you’ll be much further ahead
@markbernard83124 жыл бұрын
Firstly you are using the passion translation which is an absolute abomination of a translation. secondly what you are teaching here is nothing more than neo Gnosticism.
