"Dawning" Acrylic Art Installation

My art installation "Dawning" was on display in The Art Box @ Lincoln Square through The Center for Emerging Visual Artists in Philadelphia.
The pieces were designed in Adobe Illustrator and cut on a Universal Laser in the maker space NextFab in Wilmington, DE. Inspired from drawings out of my sketchbook, enlarged and cut out of colored acrylic. I've played with painting on acrylic sheets before but this is the first time I've created a public installation.
I titled it "Dawning" because as my first acrylic art installation it makes sense. Dawning - noun 1. daybreak; dawn 2. the beginning or first appearance of something.
adjective 1. beginning to grow light 2. coming into existence.

Hmm... Huh??? Not sure what that means? I guess I should explain this more. I made the video because photos of this installation look horrible with all the reflections. I had this video kicking around so I uploaded it without much explanation. I make art when I'm not making painting videos. I guess I need to make a process video. The pieces are laser-cut colored Plexiglas designed in Adobe Illustrator and cut on a Universal laser at a maker space. The Art Box can only be viewed from the street which makes it very hard to document so I made a video. Thanks for watching!
