Taiju fought fodder takemichi, a slightly competent fighter in chifuyu and two competent fighters in mitsuya and hakkai. Draken literally beat on his head with a bat and took on several fighters in episode 9. Did you see taiju's face when draken beat those 100 fighters? Bro could not believe it. He got owned by mikey yet still thought these 100 members could come in clutch and solo mikey + the people he fought in the church which alone proves that he thinks those 100 fighters would put up a better fight than he himself did and then draken just low-mid diffs all 100 with barely any damage. When I saw Inupi rocking the vibrant purple heels, I had to rewind real quick to make sure I wasn't seeing things. It's such a contrast to the rest of his outfit. But I mean, if you can fight while wearing heels, props to you. Taiju finally met his match. One punch man versus One Kick God. Koko really said, "Yeah. I'm a ride or die. Just not for you, Taiju", and bounced with Inupi. And that last bit with hating someone who's done horrible things to you but still loving them at the end of the day hit different.

Well even though Mikey and Drakken dropped them and made it so the Black Dragons were defeated it was thanks to Takemitchy that they even held out this long. Because imagine this Takemichi doesn’t do shit and either Taiju or even Mitsuya or Yuzuha gets killed before Mikey can pull up. Even if Mikey drops Hakkai at that moment the deed has already been done and Hakkai would get fucked in the future from either one of those’s death. So Mikey and Drakken saved their lives in the end but the one who saved to future was Takemichi because he managed to stand up to Taiju and he was the only one who was able to change Hakkai and make him overcome his trauma.

I really get annoyed when you guys get angry at this dude for making the obvious choice to protect his girlfriend (because if they break up, she’s guaranteed to be safe for 12 years, 12 years that he has to change the future) because “that’s what he did originally”, yet you also get mad when he doesn’t just let them kill their brother, something else that happened in the original timeline. I also get annoyed when you guys completely miss the point of this series. Takemichy isn’t ever going to get “the power of friendship”, he’s the one that gives the rest of the cast that power. He’s there to guide everyone down the right path, and they need to learn to lend him their strength so that he can properly help them. Like, this dude literally spent 80% of the fight against his brother just standing in the corner in fear, and it wasn’t until Takemichy proved beyond any shadow of a doubt that he was not going to back down, and he was going to protect him and his sister, even if all odds said he’d fail, that this dude finally found the courage to fight back against his brother. You need to pick what you get angry at, and you need to understand what the point of this series is. Because sure, Takemichy could waste time he doesn’t have learning how to fight, but then he’d waste time when people he cares about are literally in a new danger he needs to try to help them avoid, every week.
