Thank you for sharing your technique. Watercoloring can be tricky! I watch many hummingbirds at my feeders daily and they are all kinds of different sizes and colors. Typically, they are most attracted to red-hued flowers but I love your use of the purples here. Beautiful!

Often as I am crafting I listen to videos and glance up on occasion to view something of particular interest. Not with this video. I played it twice while sitting back and watching in awe. I had ordered this beautiful stamp set and am now even more excited to receive it. Watching and listening to you, I know I can do this. Thank you...

Since there are a lot of interests regarding watercoloring. Could you maybe do a video explaining about the tools; brushes, transparent vs. opaque, tubes vs. pans, and etc. I bought some "watercoloring" brushes (the brown bristle kind) and they are shedding like crazy. I have no idea what brushes or brand to look for. Thank you!

Dawn, this is absolutely gorgeous! I just found your channel today, and I cannot stop watching your videos. You make your tutorials and tips so easy and clear to understand, yet your simply described paintings always end up beautiful. I've recently developed an interest in watercolor; any tips for a new beginner? -Thanks

Hi Dawn. I am just starting to watercolor and wonder which you would recommend to a beginner - the Tim H markers or the regular Watercolor paints. I can only have one! Thank you - Julie
@dawnwplus910 жыл бұрын
Julie Blake It depends. If you are getting into it just for card making...go with the Tim Holtz Distress markers or pads. You'll be able to use them for many techniques beyond watercoloring and get more bang for your buck. If you want to explore traditional watercolor on a bigger scale....then the watercolor paints, definitely.
@Britgirl5810 жыл бұрын
Wplus9 Design Thank you for your information. You mention the Distress pads. Are they a manageable alternative to the markers for this technique? I have some of the pads - enough I think for now. I also have some different sized Aqua pen/brushes. Julie
