It does take practice, but stick with it. The key really is "less is more". Don't try to tackle too much detail until you've gotten the hang of controlling the water and how the paint and water react with each other..

Absolutely gorgeous flowers. I am going to go back and watch this one again and again! Now...if I understand this correctly (and I've only watched the video once)...you never actually put any white color on those "white" petunias? Correct? Oh my goodness! It's just mind boggling! Thank you so much for teaching us these techniques. I feel like I've taken part in a very focused, technical class! :-)

Absolutely beautiful. You mentioned that once watercolour paint is dry it wont reactivate, is this also true for the Gansai Tambi watercolour paints? Im hoping to get some soon. At the moment I have only been using Distress Inks and somtimes you need to layer but cant so easily. Regards Liz.

I haven't tried too much glazing with the Gansai, but it is definitely more stable than the Distress Inks. You should be able to layer it.
