YES Does he want good for his daughter? YES Will her life be tough after the baby? YES This is what he said "You have no business raising a child, Darla. You can barely take care of yourself!" As we later in the episode Charles raised that girl himself. His wife walked out on them when Darla was just a baby, she moved to Miami, never came back. He's blaming himself for all this, but he did the best he could for her. Took a demotion so he could be home when she got out of school. Coached every soccer team, showed up for every school play. Being a single father he knows the problems he had to face and choice he had to make but you guys keep abusing him, being a single parent is tough and now his daughter has to go through the same things he did and had to make sacrifices for her daughter.
