Hi, as u mention in the first vdo of the series that VALUES with variables won't work. Can you give bit of insights why it worked in this case??

At 8:47 -- Can you explain why calling the VALUES() function in a VAR assignment works in this context, but didn't work in your last video?

To answer the question raised by James, In a Calculate Function the Table expression first gets evaluated before aggregation. In case of variable, the expression is evaluated first. So, say in March row context, though the DATESINPERIOD is changing the context to 3 months i.e. Jan, Feb and Mar but since I have hardcoded the aggregation to only March by using the variable, the aggregation is happening only on march month. So, effectively context transition is getting nullified
