Klingons- For such a fearsome warrior race, they can be really romantic.
@fubaralakbar68004 жыл бұрын
I actually came here planning to comment on that. As an old-fashioned warrior race, you would think the Klingons would be misogynistic as all hell. But in fact they are quite chivalrous : )

I dont know much about them, but from what I have seem about klingons, the women are also fighters so why would there be misogeny
@fubaralakbar68004 жыл бұрын
@@ayseakbas111 I only meant at first glance. Once, you actually spend some time with them, you figure they are not sexist at all.

Passion and courage can be one and the same. You would want someone worthy to stand with you,to inherit strengths,and who is willing to fight for you.

I wonder if the Picard crew was able to participate (even if we don't see them in the scene).

A Trill and a Klingon got married on DS9 - Still a great moment in Trek history!

I have always fancied myself as a warrior, yet this marriage struck a cord within me. A lovely marriage, truly.

When I was a kid I saw this and thought "Those little bouncy balls won't hurt that much." Years later, after getting hit with a rubber mallet, I can attest - I was very, very mistaken in my youth.

I love this episode! Just after the Federation and the Klingons drove the Dominion and Cardassians from Deep space Nine, bringing much needed morale, Worf and Dax finnally get married Klingon style! Jazia went thru hell from General Martok's wife just to be accepted to her family. But, it was worth it!

🤔 It was Alexander that got the wedding started right away…so cool for everyone 😎

Give Alexander credit for arranging the wedding on DS9! Being there for his father meant a lot to him.

I absolutely love the Klingon religion. "Our gods? Oh, they were weak so we slew them."

If I ever have a wedding I would to have all the bridemaids and groomsmen given foam swords and after I do. The reciptionist gives me and my spouse foam swords and yells on guard and they all charge at us and we get to fight them all off.

Yes, there is no shame in crying manly tears of joy at such a scene.... *thumbs up*
