I must say I was very nervous that day 8-16. But it had to be done before I went on the road where I would not have been able to pull it off. Did you know there are secret compartments in Graceland that very few people know about! A few like Vester would joke about my being alive but no one took him serious. Many of my friends would ask if I were still alive and they have their doubts but as it was I might have died broke and just a shell of myself. I was given an injection that looked like I was dead but the people closest to me knew better. Believe me I had my doubts that this could be pulled off. But it did and I became Jesse, just a poor white southern boy who didn't sing a lick of anything. I feel bad my Daddy wasn't allowed to know but it just couldn't be done. From another perspective... I grew up in a war zone due to an abusive, alcoholic Father. When these videos started, I was just a few months leaving a relationship with an alcoholic partner. I was so angry. Watching these videos, hearing the words of so many... brought me to ugly cries every time. I was able to find understanding, empathy and feelings other than anger. This helped me to remember the love that had once existed, let go of regret and HEAL. I would never go back because the abuse was too much. As a 70 year old woman, believe me I can relate to all the words being sung. I’m still in pain, no amount of therapy makes the pain go away like escaping into the bottle of wine or whiskey. Recently, I was told I have liver issues, now my decision is to let it kill me, or change. I had to be mother and father to 3 small children, and the whole time I did nothing, no weed, no alcohol, no pills, just raw feelings from all the abuse of others, from a little girl to a grown woman. Now, I’m alone in my feelings with weed and alcohol. I say this to say take care of yourself before you wake up one day to look in the mirror and see 70, and the pain is still in your eyes.

Long song, but i woke up in rehab after about 17 years of long prison time and addiction . I want to reach out to your guys in early addiction, it's dangerous to not get help, and i was one of those people not willing to sober up. I ended up hurting someone in a high speed, she was 89 years old and about died. By the grace of God she made it. Im in rehab and avoided prison and that should hit someone close to home. Its not 2 late to get help : )
