This artist is one of the reasons my wife and I started going to Church to put Christ in our life 1 year ago. First song I heard was Depression, followed by a rabbit hole of songs. His lyrics and powerful, and his videos spoke directly to me. I’ve always known that God exists. But always thought that was enough, while putting my faith in man and myself. My anger through Covid, through watching what is happening to society, was tearing me apart, and made me realize that my faith in man and myself was unfounded. me. I was in my season (1 year) of depression and anxiety that led to crippling anxiety with unwanted dark thoughts along with bad habits. I was struggling as man, friend, family member and husband. Nobody could’ve healed me. I seeked help from therapy, philosophy, working out, etc but all of that was just a bandaid. I gave up and leaned on God. He carried my cross for me when I couldn’t anymore. I surrendered myself to him then I woke one day feeling fresh-like a new. I breathed in air like I never did before and was finally immersed into this world. It was just black and white to me, but I finally see the beauty and colors of life. God answered my prayers and gave me more than I can ask for. I now believe that he put me in my situation to see myself, my past and to shape my heart, and character. I will never forget what he has done for me. He saved my life, marriage and friendship.

This ia the first video of urs i have watched . And i like at 17:00 where you said "im not telling you to go to church " i have always felt rejected and came closer to the lord and started reading after a friend tild me to read the gospels then Roman's and i found that we dont have to go to church . And i found this then Jesus is talking to the samaritan woman . Then she says " for we are not allowed to go to the temple " and he responded " it dose not mater where you worship for the father is spirit and he seeks those who will worship him in spirit and truth . Since then i talk (pray) to him 24/7 and the ppl around me has seen a change in my personality, my outlook on life and so have i . So i just wanted to say ty for not trying to push going to a building down my throat as the only way to get to god . For when 2 or more of mine are together i am with them . Dax has helped me focus more on Jesus and what he said. I will be honest I have issues with many things voted in as the bible, but the one thing I keep going to is Christ and to follow him. I have studied a read the bible for many years and slipped towards a more unitarian view, but Jesus keeps directing me back to him and the other simple message that other religions really don't teach is evil is a reality it's not just ignorance, and Jesus points this out!

me. I was in my season (1 year) of depression and anxiety that led to crippling anxiety with unwanted dark thoughts along with bad habits. I considered it the worst time of my life even though my life was filled with trauma. The trauma eventually resurfaced to me during that season . I was struggling as man, friend, family member and husband. Nobody could’ve healed me. I seeked help from therapy, philosophy, working out, etc but all of that was just a bandaid. I gave up and leaned on God. He carried my cross for me when I couldn’t anymore. I surrendered myself to him then I woke one day feeling fresh-like a new. I breathed in air like I never did before and was finally immersed into this world. It was just black and white to me, but I finally see the beauty and colors of life. God answered my prayers and gave me more than I can ask for. I now believe that he put me in my situation to see myself, my past and to shape my heart, and character. I will never forget what he has done for me. He saved my life, marriage and friendship.

I went through this bit for longer than a year. It was around 7 years for me! From my early 30's, around 32 to 39 years old. I have bipolar disorder and I go through dark episodes depression. I attempted suicide twice during those years. I thought it would never end. I tried therapy and meds! Nothing ever worked! I prayed and prayed, I got on my knees and begged! I was finally relieved of that but it is a hell I wouldn't wish on anyone.

I witnessed one of the most beautiful prayers come true. A hunter was in his tree stand alone. Nothing came by to tag. Saw an eagle across the mountain. Spoke to our Lord in prayer and stated something like he would really love Jesus to show him a miracle. Next that eagle was perched on his shoulder while he cried.

God knows who you are when you are all alone in the dark when no one else is around. We all try to pretend we aren't that person that he knows. The hardest struggle I've faced was coming to terms with the person I've become through the lessons God has put before me. Coming to term with the version of myself that he already knows and has known since I was born. Honestly I don't believe God cares what words come out of your mouth when you talk to him, he just cares that you came to him to talk. When a child goes to their father to talk about what they're going through or how they feel I don't think they get upset over the choice of the words you use he wants you to speak freely with authenticity and without fear of him not hearing the message being relayed because of the words or vulgarity. God wants to hear anything and everything his children have to say.

Dax got me through a dark time in 2019z His music actually stopped my s ideation during that period when I felt alone and his words brought me to God closer so much I was baptised in the Holy Spirit. He was speaking how I was feeling at the time. I was gone and down and o screamed to God done whilst having a bath in the early hours of the morning and the experience I had was truly from God. But before that I listened to Dax by chance has a suggestion and felt connected I know now God comes in ways he knows you’ll come to him and with me it was with music. God showed me Dax and four years later that dark time was just a blip in my timeline and I think wow!! I can’t believe I ever felt that way. Nothing but love for this artist because he was sent at the time to me to guide me to our creator.

The first time I heard this song I almost thought “how could someone sing as though they were talking to God but also use foul language at the same time” and then this realization hit me (maybe it was the Holy Spirit reminding me) that there are a lot of people out in the world with the same questions and same fear, confusion, aggravation about the world and that God is not scared of our questions, we are taught many times that when we speak to God we are required to be proper and professional but God is not scared of our raw emotions. He made us with emotions. I have been struggling for so long. I adopted the Norse beliefs because Christians i knew were just rotten, but i have ALWAYS believed in Jesus Christ, no matter what i have said out of my mouth. In my soul i NEVER LET GO of Jesus. Dax, brought me back to God. This song could have been plucked right out of my heart and soul because this would be my letter to God. But i know that this is NOT Gods world. The devil owns this place. I believe that we are here for a journey of education and love. We are being prepared to truly recognize the immense and powerful Love and is God. Some people follow religion right to hell by misappropriating things that just aren't in the book. Once religion was put forth, that is when people started fighting and slaughtering each other in the name of God and to think that God would want us to kill each other in his name is pretty audacious. I am not Christian because most, if not all Christians are hypocrites and they don't follow their own advice. They will preach the bible but then go out in the parking lot after church and curse people out for parking in their spot. But, Out of all religions, by far the worst one is anyone who follows Islam. The main prophet in the Islamic faith married and had sex with a 9 year old girl, and people are supposed to magically think that is ok. That prophet also came along hundreds of years after Jesus Christ. I find it disgusting that one of the rewards for following Islam when someone dies is that they are given virgins, like they are cattle. But i am not just narrowing down the morally reprehensibility to just Islam. Catholicism is right up there as well. I disagree with having some old man as the supreme leader of a religion like he is some kind of figure to be worshiped when the bible states that no man is innocent, no not one. The Vatican purposely withholds documents that they deem as blasphemous. They keep things locked up because those things don't go by their narrative. All in all i think the fighting between religions, the persecution behind religions, and the morally reprehensible acts carried out in the name of religions is wrong on so many levels. I choose love and nothing less. I do believe Jesus Christ was God in the flesh and that He came here to teach us and He died on the cross for all for our sins. All of these things are my opinions and i realize that some of them may be wrong. But despite my opinions, i do not judge anyone. Someone's faith or how they worship does not keep me from becoming friends with those people. I just have strong opinions that i admit may not be popular to some, but that is the great thing about humanity. We can disagree and debate and still be civil. Its when we stop talking that violence takes over. I don't hate anyone and i choose to love instead.

I entertained Norse belief due to it being my heritage (checked out many religions), but always loved and believed in Jesus. There are so many directions you get pulled in that my head was spinning, until I fell apart and begged him to point me in the right direction. I am a follower of Christ but go to no church (we are the church), not sure I like the term Christian the way it 's been warped, read the KJV, and have long talks with him about everything. I actually went to seminary, and still have questions. I no longer call myself a Christian, but a follower of Christ Jesus, because Jesus didn't call his teachings Christianity. Man called it Chritianity after his death. There is so much more that blows people's minds when I explain it. Sometimes I get questions of maybe I'm blaspheming. Like Christ's church is actually his followers, not an actual building. In Matthew 16:18 he grabbed Peter and said “And I say also unto thee, Thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it”. We are his church, not a building of wood, or brick and mortar. So much more that people get wrong. This is the reason why I am a follower of Jesus and all his teachings. I adore the level of realness and honesty the Pastor speaks here!! I have dealt with a lot of church hurt and the way he spoke of how we never really get over it is exactly how I feel. It cut deep and ik it was humans not God that hurt me but it has caused me to back away from church more than once and everything that goes along with it other than prayer bc I could never fully break away from the relationship I have built with the God of my understanding whom I call Abba Father. I need that relationship more than I need life but I adore your honesty so much our world needs more of it. Thank you for giving me hope in religious people again
