Its tough out here cuz we are surrounded by ppl who dont relate to us. They KNOW about us, they KNOW what we are about, but when it comes down to understanding its nearly impossible for them. They are too used to living in a world where religion has either lost its meaning to them or temptations of worldly possessions blind them. Its difficult to prove something exists unless youve seen it yourself but just like yall didnt know i existed until i brought myself out and revealed myself is the same way God is waiting to reveal himself. The reason why we know about God is bc we were fortunate enough to either have been born into religion or a devoted religious person wanted to share His word with you in hopes that you also will be saved. Religion has been split, there are so many different interpretations of the Bible; the Catholics believe that the Sabbath should be observed on Sunday but in Genesis it clearly states that God created the heavens and the earth and everything in it within 6 six and on the seventh day, he rested. The seventh day is when he rested and the day he put apart to take a break from working and any sort of activity, this is the day Seventh Day Adventists observes. The only advice i can give is to read the Bible carefully, and ask questions, when you doubt something dont be afraid. I was born in a Christian household and we observed the sabbath on Saturdays strictly with NO exceptions; after i went through a phase of depression i went through a phase of doubt where my faith was waning and i was afraid to talk to anyone about it cuz i thought id be ridiculed, admonished, or made fun of but keeping it within and struggling alone is not a good method. To either gain faith or regain your faith in God or remind yourself that God does exist: Pray (very important), Read the Bible (it has all the answers you could possibly have regarding moral compass and other things), and talk to either a religious leader in your church or someone you know who is a firm believer and will not criticize you. Since before the 21st century the world has shown signs that God will come back soon and because we DONT know when he is coming back, we should be prepared regardless, its not up to us to wonder or tell God to come back; when he promises something he delivers. Lastly i wanna say why should we doubt an all powerful being that sacrificed his own son just so we are not condemned, his love for us is immeasurable, immense, and infinite. Stay strong, God loves you and hears you, have faith bc our time on this earth will be worthwhile when we are up in heaven enjoying ourselves with the Creator. Love you all❤️

Considering everything my church family went through in the last couple years just to be able to say the Apostle's Creed and that we believe that scripture is the word of God, and to be better disciples, this hits hard. I never used to read it before, just take in what I always heard from others but when I did start reading God's word for myself, especially in the segments where Jesus would speak... it's so strange. I started to see what he was all about. How he could be gentle, direct, kind, exasperated, sometimes even cheeky haha. I started to feel like I was getting to know his character and like he was speaking to me though his word personally. Almost like I was there too, being taught and directed. It's kind of ironic huh? There's... a lot of pain and confusion in this message. And I understand what he means by 'spirituality over religion'. Religion is man's way of trying to reach God. To measure up to Him. But religion doesn't save us. Rituals and traditions can't clense us from how lost and imperfect we are. Only Jesus can. But God has already bought and paid for us in blood. All he wants us to do is to repent and turn from our old ways and follow him. Because a personal relationship with Him is God's way of making contact with a lost humanity Let's pray for this young man.
