But the game is different now, with streaming being the main source of music and not physical copies, with cancel culture and with major labels having more money than before in today’s market, it means there needs to be a lot of creativity and hard work with independent artists. Also what they offer as artists are different to each other and different to KRS-1. Dax when he’s in that motivational pocket is done differently than both Tom and KRS and he’s making his own market for that brand. Tom has that shock value, politically charged making you think which again is not the same way KRS went about his lyrics. Thus Tom making his own market with this brand. Lots of respect and love to KRS but the point Joe is making is a little different
