I'M SO GLAD YOU LIKED IT! Dax feeds my dark and twisted side. I live with mental illness where my issues have way too many subscriptions to issues that lead me into scenarios just like this video. Some see the video as triggering but when you are tormented with BPD, schizophrenia w/psychosis, spontaneous rage and homicidal/suicidal idealism... this helps because you feel at least someone understands how you feel people say what they need to shatter your walls only to use and destroy your life and laugh about it behind your back. The devastation sets in then turns to self loathing then slowly rage starts.. you start to feel antisocial but lonely. When you see ex mutual friends in public the weirdness makes you start going insane then one word is all you can think about.... REVENGE ... on the person that hurt you or on yourself for being so gullible. I totally relate. The girl version is about sexual abuse and rape... and when I was 13 I was raped by my 18 yr old bf and his 2 over 21 year old friends after they invited me over to drink with them. I was disposed of with only my shirt & boots. They carried me out to the car drove to the long gravel road I lived on opened the door and pulled me out and from the assault I couldn't walk so I had to crawl on gravel to my house and climb into my window. I locked my bedroom door and refused to come out because I was ashamed and didn't want anyone to know what happened. I was too embarrassed to report it because back then the victim was victimized twice and usually marked as an ex that was jealous trying to get the guy back.. Well, my ex became a preacher and the other two guys; I don't even know their names or could even recognize them. When I finally told a mutual friend of ours what he did that person said "he was young. He didn't know any better". Needless to say I see a therapist 3x a week, psychologist, neurologist for night terrors w/ grand Mal seizures and I constantly question myself if I am happy... because I can't fully trust anyone. Sorry this is long and very painstaking personal, but maybe someone can relate or understand the darkness in Dax's songs. Thank you Michael!

This song was released in 2020, and truly depicts the controversy surrounding Will Smith & Jada. That famous “slap” was happened at the Oscar in 2022… You can just close your eyes and think about will smith when you listen to the lyrics if Dax ain’t your modern prophet I don’t know what it is #searchingforareasonDax

Sounds like his video isn't for you. No need for feedback if you didn't. Just saying. Mental illness, betrayal, paranoia , revenge and hopelessness effects people differently. This video makes me feel like he understands exactly how I feel sometimes... it's a constant war. But sorry you didn't like it
